Pros +
- Gorgeous property, beautifully appointed rooms, lots of space, clean, quiet, luxurious. Great spa.
- Staff are absolutely fantastic!! Super comfy bed! Nice pool. Breakfast was nice. Best natural yogurt I’ve had in Bolivia. Nice little gym. Great welcome drink. Allowed me an early check in. Just really nice and relaxing.
- Breakfest very good . Egs corner perfect. Fruits and vegetables of choice .
Cons -
- It is expensive, but it is lovely.
- Bathroom could have done will a little modernisation. (although at first I think I was put in a newer room but asked to change so I could have a balcony - so my fault on that) The pool loungers were a little sad looking.
- Nobody respect the rules of the pool. The same areas for adults and children are bad solution.

I got charged in booking but the hotel told me I had to pay again on top thy tried to tax me where it says nowhere in the hotel site
Location and food
The room had a bad smell, specially the bathroom. The shower was not properly cleaned.
clean, nice, super comfortable and very nice attention.
Anything
Great location, great staff, great service, great facilities. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants and coffee shops around, it's quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Nada
Great location, clean, confortable. Affordable luxury in Santa Cruz
I’ve been here a few times. It’s a nice hotel with great swimming pools. Breakfast, rooms, beds and air conditioning are pretty good.
There was a proper water leak through the roof of our room. The sauna doesn’t get cleaned daily as there was a dirty towel left there for two days. In the listing on Booking most hotels properly show the amount of tax for Bolivian citizens before booking. Camino Real listing shows “Includes taxes and charges” but at the front desk they tell you it isn’t included and blamed it on Booking, I showed them a screenshot. But if the other hotels can do it correctly, the problem is most likely at Camino Reals end.
The location is ideal to explore the city. The pool is big enough but it’s a bit dated. The bar staff at the pool was super friendly and accommodating. For five stars, the hotel Needs a lot of maintenance.
The hotel is a bit dated. Needs a bit refurbishing. Change the Curtains maybe. And the shower didn’t have enough pressure.
Good location. Balcony
Old. HVAC - heating didn't work. Food wasn't great.
Nice hotel, great indoors pool and sauna. The internet is very stable and fast.
The rooms need an update, the ac in the room is very noisy
Kids loved the pool, with fun slide etc. staff were friendly and helpful, making restaurant reservations and responding to messages quickly. Room was fine and 20m from pool. Room service, breakfast and bar all very good. Walking distance to big shopping mall and taxis on hand of needed. Sauna was very good. Unfortunately had to cancel a second stay at the end of our trip (flight problem) and they handled this very courteously. Would stay here again for sure.
Was quite expensive, and could hear traffic at night, but minor issues.
Passable
Very noisy, the pool is beside one of the main rode of Santa Cruz. It makes it very noisy, not relaxing and we could smell the polution a lot
Nice helpful staff
Breakfast was limited, a terrible noise woke us at 6.30am possibly problems witb aircon. The hotel did not offer us any compensation despite being 5 star
Had a great time, all very clean and delicious breakfast!
Spa very busy but many families on holidays here.
The service, facilities and food are all exceptional. Location is great and gives you easy access to an area of the city full of restaurants and shops. The hotel in itself invites you to stay on the grounds and offers plenty of space to conduct business or spend a peaceful afternoon by the pool. Kudos to the staff, always polite, eager to help and offering a "good day/afternoon" with a smile.I have been a guest for many years now (my wedding party was at this hotel) and I am always glad to come back and enjoy the great service this hotel has to offer.
The room shower was defective. A new shower would allow a great start of the day or a relaxing end of day after enduring the city's heat, humidity and strong winds.
Loved the pools both outdoor and indoors. Beds were comfortable. Room was huge. A/C worked great. Food was excellent.
The bar was packed and the servers weren't paying attention. Talking with each other and on their cells.
Great breakfast, great location, great pools for kids
It was a little loud since traffic is near by. But not too loud
Very good pool and spa area. Nice breakfast, but if you are not too late.Generally, everything is clean and comfortable.
Quantity of sunbeds is not enough for all the people. Some of the rooms have direct access to the pool, but others don't. In my opinion should be different price for such options. Room is a little worn out, bathroom isn't big. Not really bad, but not for 5 stars and this price.
