Marriott Santa Cruz de la Sierra Hotel

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and confortable.

Food in the restaurant was really lackluster, variety is limited to whole me is and known staples such as grilled beef or the typical local dish Pique Macho. I tried a Chicharrón which was good but nothing to write home about. For dinner I tried a Peruvian fried rice dish wich was terrible, salty and gooey. Truly awful. Breakfast variety is also very limited. 4 warm dishes which are always potatoes, steamed vegetables, scrambled eggs and sausages/bacon. Bread and pastries are also very limited, as are the cold dairies. Not the best breakfast I have had in a Marriott hotel Room sound isolation is also a concern, one can practically hear what the guest in the next room is watching on TV, very little privacy there. On a more personal note, one night at 12 am I got a call from the front desk. I picked up after waking up and no one replied. No apologies were given after this. If you pick a Marriott it is because you know the brand and like what it offers, but this time this hotel has not met my expectations. I hope they improve because it is one of my favorite brands of hotels.

Excellent friendly, helpful, and very astute staff from the moment I arrived at the front door to reception, restaurant, house keeping, etc.

No criticisms I can think of

The room is spacious, there is also a big TV, with many channels. All the channels are in a good quality. The room is silent, I did not hear any noise. The hotel also offers swimming pool and fitness.

- They don't respond any messages on booking.com, so instead they want me to make a phone call from Denmark to this hotel in a rate of 2 dollars per second. - I am not comfortable signing for my breakfast, since I don't wear my reading glass. I am not really sure what I am signing for.- The breakfast is boring and plain. I opened one of their Greek yogurt and realized it was expired. - The WFI is super slow in this hotel. They offer WFI at speed of max, 10 Mbit.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Clean hotel in a great location.

The whole team are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast very good. Easy location to walk to shopping mall. Rooms clean and modern. Short taxi ride to some really good restaurants.

How we were welcomed by the receptionist Marcela. How Fabricio the bar tender was attentive and eager to please. How Rodrigo was great in the morning during breakfast. Just perfect. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. And again thank you to these three people mentioned above. They deserved to be rewarded.

Very good location and convenient hotel

The ac in the room is very noisy and there is no solution for it. It doesn’t allow a good night sleep

- Cleanliness of the hotel, people at the reception speak fluent English and are friendly.- Large buffet breakfast with fresh food and juices- Room was very comfortable and with a nice desk to work on the laptop

- no glass cup for coffee/tea in the room. Only plastic one.- Coffee quality in the room- No documentation/ hotel information in the room or food menu

Very nice hotel, good facilities and great rooms.Excellent Breakfast.Pool was good and bar pleasant in the evenings.Fitness centre was OK.30 minutes from the airport.

Hotel is quite a way out of town. Shopping centres with bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance.Getting around requires a taxi, but there are lots.

The food was great!!

The hotel blocked the sun hitting the pool in the afternoon which was a major let down. The snacks and drinks next to reception appear free but they are not!

I liked the restaurant because you could find good choices. The staff were friendly and kindly. They made us to feel at home.The room was comfy. The front desk helped us when we need informations and help.

I brought some expectations about the pool. It was freezing for swimming but, the jacuzzi gives a good option.

Very corporate but after travelling around Bolivia for a week it was like a shining beacon of luxury - a good Marriott great pool and room and English speaking reception ?

There was a corporate event at breakfast with speeches and loud music not what we wanted next to us at breakfast - but it is Bolivia and they do things differently
