City Lodge Hotel Umhlanga Ridge

The rooms were beautiful, particularly the bathroom finishes. The hotel seems recently renovated and as the facilities were still new and I love that they have various charging facilities including a USB-C slot on the wall. The breakfast has a lot of variety. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The elevator was not cleaned, the Wi-Fi was slow most days. The bed was generally low and small for my requirements. Having a toilet brush can really assist as you do not have to wait for house-keeping to clean the toilet area.

The location for my taste was not lovely. Food quality was standard hotel sub par.

Location is perfect. It is great when you are mostly out and not sitting in the room all day. It was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly, professional and prompt with any request. Will definitely be back!!

They were busy with renovations which couldn't be helped.

The staff wasn’t so friendly, i made a booking, when reaching the property was all full, but they managed to get rooms.

Renovations started at 6am....contractors banging on the walls next door and outside our room non stop...check out is supposed to be at 11 but housekeeping was there to clean at 8am

I had a great stay at the hotel, I loved how it was close to the mall and restaurants. The staff were also super friendly.

The breakfast was good. the service was confusing at first but once we figured it out, everything went okay.

the cleaning staff ignored our do not disturb sign. they attempted entry multiple times even with the sign up. they also took over 4 hours on a certain day to finish clean up in our unit.

Friendly staff. Convenient location with lots of halaal eating places nearby. Hotel was recently renovated. No balcony though although it was advertised in Booking.com.

My room was smelling paint windows now well close renovation was not yet done
