The staff at Beverly were exceptional but the hotel is very tired. Balcony door couldn't slide open, toilet pan was loose, aircon leaked but was quickly repaired, TV didn't work too well, no instructions on TV and coffee machine

Service standards of staff was very good & professional

Loved the location north of Durban - lots of great restaurants and things to do. The breakfast was great (loved the monkeys!)

I stay at the Beverly Hills every year around the Christmas Holidays. It has always been a wonderful experience.The staff couldn't be better, always warm and welcoming.

Some updating to the AC systems is necessary. Temperature control doesn't function properly.

Check in was the highlight...staff was professional & consistent. The pool area was relaxing. The Patriots were amazing. Lady who assisted with housekeeping (Nokuthula) was amazing

Upon check-in staff were professional & welcoming, which made a positive first impression. However, from arrival onwards, several aspects of our stay fell below expectations. By the way, we were on a late flight, arrived around 10pm & shockingly we we had to carry our own luggage from the outside parking area without any assistance, which was unexpected for a hotel of this standard.In the room, the bathroom door did not close properly, and there was an unpleasant odour after a few flushes. The balcony light was noticeably dim compared to those in other rooms, which were significantly brighter. Throughout our stay, only x2 250ml bottles of water were replenished & none of the bathroom products were replaced which was an inconvenience. Would have appreciated for towels that were removed Sat after to be replaced as we were only checking out the next dayService levels were inconsistent, particularly at the main restaurant, where some members of staff were not always patient with us. We also observed other groups receiving what appeared to be preferential treatment. Getting seated and finalising our restaurant bill are worth forgetting. Hopefully the inroom breakfast won't disappoint.The spa experience was disappointing. The booking process was tedious, with unsuitable time slots, a receptionist who was not consistently available, and payment terms that were not clearly explained upfront. Additionally, the absence of a facial steamer and a general lack of consistency in the overall spa experience detracted from what should have been a relaxing and well-managed service. Also noticed that by the gate leading to the beach, there was no security nor any access control. Some offerings like hotel ambrellas, towels for beach usage can be helpful.Read the reviews before making our booking and our expectations and experience were totally misaligned.

The AC started leaking condensation. And instead of giving me some kind of compensation, they just take me for informing them.

The place is old and showing signs that replenishment is needed . Rust showing on doors, need paint job.

Taps did not work, hence maintenance was called in our honeymoon morning. Absolutely terrible. On speaking to the concierge on duty he literally just said it's fine take your time over breakfast. Going to breakfast without a shower just does not do well...NOPE!!! Spoke to the manager on duty, still no feedback. Well, apparently if we have booked via booking.com there is not even a partial or consideration. She just asked that in future we book with her. $240 for this. Rather disappointing.

BEST hotel in Durban! The staff are incredible and the location is perfect! I also loved the buffet breakfast. It is the only place that I stay when I travel to Durban. Value for money!

Proper 5 star service, the staff really pays attention to detail. Great location, all rooms have sea view. The common bathroom downstairs is super clean.

I gave a 9 rating because that bathroom/shower situation is old fashioned and rather dangerous for elderly people.

Everything from the minute we walked in was great.Bright welcomed us with warm towels, parked my car, and took up our luggage He also explained to ys Everything we needed to know.Every afternoon, there was cheese and wine tasting for guests.
