The location

Elevators were troublesome one did not work at all and the second one would get stuck. Was always full would waste time just trying to get up and down and with a stroller the stairs were not on option

The breakfast was great, location of the hotel was amazing! The room was very spacious.

The rooms are comfortable, neat and nicely furnished.

The breakfast was not that good.

Lovely hotel , friendly staff ,accommodated our slightly later check out . breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. We used the gym which was basic but quiet. Overall a very nice stay

Room coffee/tea supply was very limited. Bookings.com displayed that the price includes breakfast, only to find that it doesn’t just after sending the payment

The location and comfort

There was no dishtowel in the kitchen and no sunlight liquid for washing up the dish Les, I did call housekeeping who provided the sunlight soap however, there was no washcloth or sponge.

Great location, close to shops. Friendly, helpful staff. Generous size room.

Nothing at all

Location is next to Gateways with easy access to the mall and restaurants.Rooms have a separate little kitchen with a lovely lounge area.

Carpets may require a deep clean

Standard of the room was great. Clean and well kept.

No pool (aware there wasn’t a pool but would be a bonus if there was or a jacuzzi). Dstv only worked when we arrived, thereafter a blank screen which I reported but was never fixed.

Proximity to malls, main roads and beaches. The bed is comfortable.

The carpet didn’t smell too good. It was musty.

Location was great! Housekeeping was the only excellent service we received from your establishment!!! The beddings was neat.

Firstly, upon arrival the staff at reception was unfriendly. Secondly, we were not informed that we should insert card for electricity and only when I called reception, the lady said we should insert the card. The carpets smelt of urine. The general bathroom the shower did not work and everyone had to use the ensuite shower. After midnight there was very loud sounds coming from outside our bedrooms.This was our first time visit at your establishment and was disappointed that the pictures on the website is not what we got!

The area

It was not my first time booking at the Royal, the place this time around was not clean. Our room had coakroaches and at some point the cleaning staff didn’t lock our room leaving our bedroom and personal belongings unsafe.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Hotel and rooms were spacious, luxurious and fully equipped
