Premier Splendid Inn Umhlanga

The room was clean. Good view of the ocean. Good location.

- i liked that it was situated in umhlanga - there was enough parking - security was present

- i didn’t like that it was two different hotels, very misleading - the hotel that we stayed in did not have a balcony view - if we needed to use the pool or balcony facilities we had to walk to the other building - this hotel does not have an ocean view, Umhlanga Premier Hotel has the ocean view - the room that we stayed in really smelt, it was a very unpleasant smell- the bathroom smelt so bad, luckily we booked one night as we could not shower cause of the smell.- the hotel was very scary at night- there were no proper windows

Everything that was there was perfect…

There’s no bar fridge & microwave in the rooms, we bought our own food , we had to eat it cold and drinks were very hot and it was not nice. Please those two facilities.

The hotel layout and location. Easy to find and close to everything

The Aircon Was not working properly and the bath area was poorly designated...The incline was in the wrong direction, causing Water to flood the bathroom. We had to put towels on the floor to minimize it

A lovely hotel in a great location, with wonderful staff who made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was decent.

The room was clean. Loved the balcony. Spacious bathroom. Clean towels. The room service was efficient and the fish and chips I had was very nice.

The parking. Having to take luggage to the car, then come back to the building and take lift to drop off the key at reception, take the lift back up to the car again. Felt like a lot of admin. TV did not work in my room too.

The stuff was good the bed was comfortable

No toilet brush, no bar fridge, no microwave, drainage system at the shower and hand basin is bad

Great location, staff quite pleasant and service pretty rapid at times.

Aircon wasn't very effective, which is an issue when Umlanga gets hot.

The facilities were clean well located, convenient and had very good security services as well as parking.

The staff is very basic providing service just at minimum level! There is no help carrying the luggage even when they see the guest is loaded. You hardly see staff except at reception.

Bad WiFiNo reception service at both properties when room card did not work.

Comfortable, clean and modern rooms. Friendly staff. Secure parking. Central location though you do need a car hire/e-hailing service to get to the closest shops and restaurants. FYI pool access closes at 18:00, keep in mind for planning your day. If your room overlooks Umhlanga Ridge Boulevard, it will be noisy if you want your windows open, though there is AC in the rooms.

Reception staff unprofessional, rude and extremely disorganized.

The space is clean and situated perfectly around almost every place one would like to go

Rooms need improvement in that the must have at least a fridge

Location, it’s beautiful.

The air conditioning wasn’t working, and shower water was cold. I called reception about three times, only once did they pick up, and promised to send technician to look at air conditioning but no one came.I also called asking for an iron and ironing board, they promised to send it, but an hour later i had to check out wearing creases clothes coz iron didn’t come and reception was not answering.

Executive room was affordable and lovely size. Everything a person needed.

Complete privacy and security.

The view was amazing, the staff are friendly and the room was super clean and beautiful.

The aircon in the room did not work which was disappointing.
