The Receptionist was brilliant - we arrived early and she had this smile on her face to welcome us.

Mistake not to be made

The guest for who the lodge was booked, complained bitterly, indicating he did not feel safe as onsite there were people walking around with guns. Water was not given, and the staff did not assist when required. He had to check out a day later with no refund given by the lodge. 6 days were booked. absolute robbery.

The reception area was good, security was standing on business, but breakfast enough, the tables were clean. Rooms were clean and aircon worked. The Restuarant was good and the at night and when i had a problem with my room they asssisted me.

I think its important to speak your own language, but if you respond in English and the restaurant speaks Zulu because they think you understand the room should be read, and the breakfast staff must revert to English. I also didn't like the fact the hotel has the full DSTV package.

Staff was friendly and the location was great to what I wanted.

The rooms were a little smaller to whats I wanted. also could use having full body mirrors

The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who made the stay very pleasant. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well maintained, and the setting was perfect. The property is centrally located and easily accessible to major malls and entertainment areas.

There was very little to fault during the stay. Everything met expectations and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The breakfast was not nice they failing doing omelet so paying for eat was the west of money They don’t serve you I ask water they pore to same glass that was using for something else they not friendly

Convenient

The balcony was dirty. The door couldn’t lock when we were going out unless you bang it really hard. The handle needs to be maintained or replaced.

Disappointed

First room I was booked into, wreaked terribly. The second room aircon didn't work. The third room shower had a Bleach odour and there was hair in the cubicle. Really disappointed with how the standards dropped. I frequent this hotel and doubt that I would ever return.

I appreciated, you catered for vegetarian, however I was only told of this when I was leaving.Also, you have 2 pricing for breakfasts - wish I knew this before.Left without having breakfast

I wanted for breakfast only 2 slices of toast with eggs on, but was told I needed to pay set amount for breakfast which was over 200. They should b more lenient at breakfast, cater for client needs.

Bad

The first room was stinking. Fowl smell that was unbearable. I was then given a second room. That of which the aircon wasn't working and had a bleach odour. Then I was moved to a 3rd room. Here there was hair in the shower which indicates that it wasn't cleaned properly. I am a frequent visitor and I cannot believe how quickly the standards have deteriorated. I will no longer stay here.
