The Garden Venue Hotel

Beautiful settings with a lot to choose from. The friendlyness of the staff was a pleasure.The layout of the different function facilities are great.

Our bed in room 11 one side is really uncomfortable you can feel the springs.there was coffee & tea offered in the room, but no kettle.

My time at The Garden Venue Hotel was interesting most of all lovely venue i did think the staff were fantastic coming from the hospitality industry too in Cape Town. The food was also wonderful too.

The room as you pass the kitchen door on the left downstairs just out that entrance on the left with pvt entrance woodern poles , the room was actually quite small in comparison to what i could have gotten nearby however i was only upset at the fact that the bathroom window didnt close and the tv did not work. It switched on however dstv did not work.

Nice shower Complimentary bottle of cheap wine for bed not being made.

Bed wasn't made.No ambience. Receptionist was hopeless and lied continuously rather than resolve the problem.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is stunning

Breakfast was half an hour late which caused a delay in my day

The breakfast was under par. Everything was cold and the scrambled eggs were finished. I have already advised the Hotel of this fact.

Directions to the breakfast venue. More wheelchair/mobility access to the venues on site. Very difficult to navigate with someone who has mobility problems. More handrails would have been appreciated.

Excellent Location

1) Does not have wheelchair ramps which made it difficult to move a family member around 2) AC in the room did not work, it was ditterly cold overnight.

The place is nice considering that it is in the city. They have lovely gardens. The staff was very friendly when checking in. The breakfast was also ok. The room was clean.

They could improve the signage to the place. We passed it and had to make a u-turn. We expected to be assisted with luggage but that didn't happen. There was a mix up with the rooms. We didn't know that we had to prebook dinner so ended up having to go outside for dinner. They didn't have good coffee so also had to get that outside. The generator was too loud. The place also doesn't have a bar or chilling are. It seems it is best suited for events.

The clean, beautiful room. The staff were friendly and always available to assist. The breakfast was excellent ?

We were disturbed by noise from other guests until early parts of the morning so we didn't get a good night sleep

The place is amazing.The service is excellent.The breakfast was great.The room was clean, but the bathroom door of room 3 did not close, it only locked from the inside.

The bathroom doors could do with a little revamp. Proper locking mechanism.

Lovely setting. Staff were consistently friendly and proactive. The breakfast was fantastic for the whole family. Good security.

The rooms being in a separate building where you could not lock the building door - though was not actually necessary.

The reception staff was excellent. Noddy was excellent in attending to us. We were there for a party and the event was extremely well done.

The fact that the bedroom did not have a window.

The breakfast was delicious, the place was very nice as well.

The fact that there's no restaurant on site and swimming pool, was the only that I didn't like, however it was not too bad because there's lot of restaurants close by.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, enjoyed their breakfast and the experience at the party venue

The koi pond and honeymoon room with huge bath and seat in the shower sadly we didn't get that room like told in 2021 but non the less it was superb

Just the confusion in the room (honeymoon) other than that great can't wait to return next yr for our one yr anniversary

its a great location and the gardens are truly wonderful

They dont have an onsite restaurant which was inconvenient for me as I was not made aware of that on arrival. The room did not have a plug near the bed for charging my phone.

The staff were very helpful and super friendly and accommodating we had our wedding here and ANKE, LYNETTE PROFESSOR AND MATT were remarkable in making our dream wedding come to life

Loved everything honestly. Wouldn't change a thing or where we had our wedding. This venue is remarkable

The venue is beautiful...perfect for weddings. The staff were great especially the manager and Blessings.

It is advertised on your appthat there is a restaurant. There isn't. Only for breakfast. No lunch or supper. They also got our rooms wrong but eventually sorted it out and we were moved to the ones we booked for.

Best point, the staff. Every staff member I can in contact with was pleasant and helpful. Which is not always common in South Africa. ??? to them. The property is also beautiful and pleasant to walk around.

The rooms are a bit tiny and the electric outlet situation is not functional.I literally had to sit the kettle on the floor to plug it in.

I loved the venue,it was clean the room was prepared according to how I asked it to be.

The staff at the breakfast hall were rude for some time.I believe they value other people than some of us

Checking in was a breeze, staff in the breakfast area was friendly, including all the gentlemen at reception

Was attending a wedding on the 5th the staff was so rude, it looked like they didn't want to be there, it really was unprofessional
