Good location

Need more lights in room. Too dark, bathroom needs to be lit.

My room was quiet and clean.

As soon as the G20 came into town I was treated like a second class guest. I asked to have lunch in the dining room but was told that there was no room because of a function, but it only started an hour and a half after I asked for a table and they allowed a table of four to sit in the dining room during that time and they were not part of the function. I was relegated to a small area in the corner with no air conditioning. I was recovering from surgery which the whole staff were made aware off. I did speak to the manager of the dining area and he apologized and said that things would be better tomorrow. He also offered me some lunch to take up to my room, but I said that I did not want that, I just wanted to be treated kindly from the get go.

I liked that the property just as it was advertised online. My room was clean, ready upon arrival and the staff at the front desk was amazing. Special thank you to Thando he was so pleasant and professional. The hotel is located close by the Melrose Mall so that was a plus for me.

Amazing location near by Melrose and Sandton with all required facilities.

All necessary systems but nothing related to energy saving or connected room capabilities. Door needs a bit of maintenance.

The room service was bad because one person was doing everything so he was impatient and it sounded like he was rude with us and the food took longer

The buffet food is horrible, not worth the money - just go to melrose arch for food.A tenant on floor 2 was unbearable

Clean linen everyday and housekeeping staff, forever smiling. The reception was also welcome and smiling.

Overall had a great stay. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was great. Would stay there again if in JHB.

Very well located. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was great as well. The pool is really small that’s the only thing I did not enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was well maintained and we appreciated the space. We are not happy about 1. The cleaning of the room was late especially on Saturday when we had to be outside until they finished cleaning2. The attitude of staff at reception regarding the item we left behind after checking out yesterday(6/4/2025), when we came back to enquire. We told by the staff that your policy is that you do not call the client if the client does not come back and claim. That in my view is terrible customer service. A WhatsApp message could do. This is spoiling everything.Becuase of this I am not even sure that I will return and even stay at any of your places anywhere else.

The room door was very difficult to open. Every day opening the door was a struggle even after reporting the door on day 1 it wasnt fixed

Small room and shower, but good for one night. Excellent breakfast. Sufficient safe parking for your car.

The decorum, understanding, service and respect of the staff

Check out at 10am is too early, you barely have woken up, especially where check in is so late at 2 or 3pm
