Location

One can see that the concept is deteriorating in appeal , service and delivery. It not a hotel , it has the element of luxury lacking. It more like just a basic apartment. Not five star anymore. Staff are not hospitality driven. Legacy is dropping the ball on this property. Lacks ambiance. Aged and needs modernization. It’s Very convenient area. And access to the mall is great. It does hornet have tk catch how to Sandton City style.

Breakfast was a 10 walk from the hotel inside the Michelangelo...it is worth the walk as the restaruant is the Roar right across from the convention centre.Staff are friendly and very helpful. Free parking too. You just pull up outside and the staff take you card an retrieve it on 10 minutes notice

Unfortunately there seemed to be some work going on in the building so there was banking for a number of hours on 3 monrings

Facilities were excellent. The gentleman at reception and the gents at the entrance went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay.

Poor room service which is linked to the Michelangelo restaurant. This takes away from the convenience that is expected.

Fridge wasn't running very well, toilet roll holder didn't hold the rolls

Finding the breakfast place was a nightmare,took us time to eventually get there after a lot of back and forth and up and downs (a whole 30 min).Funny that the mall security had no clue where the restaurant was

Netflix and prime video did noy work.Aircon was too hot and could not adjust.Could not get onto your free wifi

Breakfast was at a sister hotel and a little far away. I only went once but the food and service was great.

The TV didnt have Netflix or the ability to cast to it.

Still stylish although a bit on the older side. Convenient and safe.

The units need a bit of TLC. Televisions and furniture need to be upgraded as well.

In general staff was very friendly and collaborative, ready to help whenever needed. Upon my request, they immediately sorted out problems that we faced with some amenities in the room. Moreover the location is definitley an advantage especially in what regards to safety.

Breakfast location in Michael Angelo´s premises is inconvenient especially for senior guests. Construction works along the night in a nearby location prevented a good night sleep in the last night of my stay

We asked them to arrange a cap and they did , unfortunately we didnt have change so the driver stop us into an Atm when my husbend go inside and working on the ATM 2 guys came and distract him and they steel his bank card later on they took 40000 Rand !! I need the taxi company name ! And beware plz who ever want to rent a cap must have full detail and have enough cash !!!

The reception staff (1 lady in particular) was absolutely unaccomodating and unfriendly. From checking us in to providing necessary information regarding our stay. Lack of customer service and rude attitude. Portraits a bad image for such a beautiful hotel

Huge living room and kitchen area. Upscale property. Direct access to mall.

Check out should be after 12 pm.

The staff was good and helpful. Room was clean but maybe due to festive season we could hear the noise at night.

The only thing what we didn't like is the breakfast as there is no variety for non beef/pork eater. The only thing that we had was toast and butter as we had enough of eggs everyday. They should think of changing the menu especially for guests who is staying for 12 days!!

We really enjoyed the breakfast at Roar restaurant, first day we both had Avo on toast and second day we both had the eggs benedict. Both meals were excellent

This is the second time we have stayed at Raphael Suites. We find it so convenient right adjacent to amazing restaurants and shops.

It was below my expectation

Breakfast option should have been wider and on one of the days when we requested for room service for breakfast it was delivered around 11am instead of 09am.we ordered dessert it meant constant follow up and the wrong order was delivered 2hrs later

2nd time the aicons are underpowered for the sum facing rooms

Being a long term member doesn’t count for much. No benefits of late check out especially after specially requesting for it

if its that apartment, never again.

We complained every day we were there. Only on the last day did someone offer to change the room. We've stayed multiple times but this time was the worst. The RM was to email us but still nothing has come. The fridge was not usable (it stank, we had to put flowers inside and it still stank). The bathroom lighting had been removed and not replaced. The bedroom cupboard doors are not usable. The drawers in the kitchen were coming off. There was banging most of the days. Such a shame, no one cares and is maintaining.

Breakfast portion was smaller than expected and not tasty.

Hotel gym was not staffed and no towels available.
