CedarWoods of Sandton Hotel

The room set up, the bedding and bathroom were up to standard. The restaurant meals were very palatable and affordable in prices. The garden was well nurtured and of course those pine trees enhanced the vicinity. very picturesque

the curtains were a bit transparent for me. I was not sure whether people outside could see my silhouette. Otherwise i have no qualms

The friendly staff from Reception to Kitchen staff. They pay attention to details and always respond accordingly. They can also take u to the shops??Good customer service .

Night shift staff should be much attentive. I was served dinner meals without tissues.

The staff who served me food, soo caring and loving. Made me feel at home, thank you soo much for that. I really appreciate the warmth and care they have shown me, even the guys I met first day at the reception, I believe the guy's name was Thokozani, he and the other young lady were soo loving and welcoming. Thank you truly

1. the room that I booked was soo noisy, the were people working in the other room, as they knew they could have fixed it. I had a presentation that I needed to deliver, I had to inform them about it. The noise was soo bad. Also I arrived early almost at my booking time, you pay extra , they do not make exceptions, even when the room was empty.2. Not being properly informed

Room was a bit claustrophobic. A bit overpriced.

Staff food ambience

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful.

The room was odd. Service was poor in the restaurant despite me seemingly being the only guest! There was a party going on one night I was there and it was very noisy in my room. I had an early start and was told the party would end at 10pm. It didn't! And nobody answered the phone when I called to say how loud it was. Not impressed.

The location was convenient to where I needed to be. Check-in was a breeze as was the checkout process. The breakfast was excellent and friendly and contributed to the majority of my positive opinion of the establishment.

The fridge in the room was not running when I arrived, thus the two bottles of water were at room temperature. The neighbours or other patrons were rowdy and noisy till the early morning resulting in my sleep being disturbed numerous times. The facility has a generator only for the restaurant area, the emergency lights placed in the rooms do not last the 2 hours of load-shedding and the emergency exit signs are not illuminated.

Good, but admin ignores communications

Why have an option to specify that you're travelling for work, enter your company details, request a VAT invoice, only for the property to completely ignore the instructions and send generic invoices. Even after repeated requests. Property may be comfortable, but if they cannot follow simple instructions, we will choose another for our work accomodations.

It is close (less than 10 minutes walk) to my training center.

The room does not have enough space for two persons.And the cabinet is too small, even for one person.

The food was really nice.

Our bedding was not clean.Pool was not cleanThe staff seems clueless....from the time we arrived and asked if we could park closer to our room....2 people said we cannot, only to find that it was possible.The fridge was not cold.To shower was a struggle with water not coming from the tabs.

The food was awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place is very much safe and security protection is top.

The shuttle service from and to OR tambo airport is not affordable since you are already staying in the hotel. The same happens for attractions activities.

It was quiet and the food was amazing

The carpet was stained and I booked for a room with a balcony but I didn't get it

The rude receptionist: we were told breakfast ends at 10 am but when we go to the restaurant at 9:30 am the waiters tell us breakfast ends at 9 am. But the waiters are nice to get us something.Receptionist told us check out is at 12pm but on the check out dat a very rude receptionist call our room at 11am and told us we already overstayed, unless we check out in 20 minutes they will charge us. It's really threatening and rude.Very basic hotel appearing to be good on pictures.Never come back again.

The food was disgusting in the restaurant and that is being kind- inedible!!!!

FOOD - RESTAURANT. Chef should be fired. Restaurant waiters lovely.

I like everything about the accommodation, everything was in order in my room, the garden was very cool and clean, the restaurant was also good and very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

There's nothing I didn't like.

The breakfast was great with a variety to choose from. The chefs/waiters were very hospitable. The rooms are a spacious and accommodate for workstations especially those who works virtually/ hybrid. You can integrate working and relaxing at the same time. It is conveniently located near restaurants/shop and corporate office , good for those who are there on business trips.

The TV in the rooms was not good. It seems like the place attracts corporate guests, and the existing channels are not accommodating business travellers. There were no News channels, mainly because there were no paid channels.

Location was appropriate for family get- together.Spit Braai was excellent.Staff Very accommodating.Furry friends was a pleasant surprise.Appreciate effort to reserve one room without carpet for health reasons..

Accomodation: One of the Carpeted rooms was disappointing. Carpet was an issue.Extremely musty, couldn't sleep well as a result. spoilt the experience.Poor pool facilities. Unhygienic.Salads for Braai were disappointing. Not much effort made .For dessert whipped cream was used and not Fresh cream as promised.Tasteless.Poor quality ice- cream.Should have offered Rich n Creamy choice. Clover is best choice for such occasions.

Best location for Malls/shopping, very quiet neighbourhood

the bed was stiff , i think it time to work on renovation - hopefully that doest increase the prices a lot.
