54 on Bath, Johannesburg Rosebank

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Direct access to Rosebank Mall and close to many restaurants and shops. Room was very nice with awesome amenities. Great breakfast!

Pool was not heated.

Perfect location and felt safe. Grounds are lovely.

The shower is somewhat small but it is an international hotel and older properties usually have smaller showers.My commodes inside the tanks parts broke in the middle of my second night so it was inconvenient.

We had the most wonderful stay at 54 on Bath in Johannesburg. From the moment we arrived until check-out, the staff were truly exceptional and made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for. Our safety was always a priority for them, and although Rosebank is a safe area, we greatly appreciated their advice and helpful tips, which ensured our stay was completely smooth and worry-free.The lady at reception on our arrival in the afternoon was fantastic friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She recommended a restaurant that we absolutely loved, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay.Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of cooked options that completely exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.Another great feature was the convenient passage to the nearby mall. This was especially helpful as it was our first stay and we needed to quickly pick up a few things for our kids with very limited time. It made everything so easy and stress-free.We highly recommend 54 on Bath and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The rooms were very spacious & tasteful. The breakfast was excellent. The staff, very very kind.Infact, they gave us a complimentary transport to church on Sunday which was within their 5km offer. We were very happy with everything ?I particularly loved the welcome personal note by the GM, signed by Ms Madeline. It really warmed my heart.The sweet treats availed every day were also well appreciated.Oooh & the sheets & the pillows on the bed, they were such a delight....It was one of my biggest delights....so white, so soft!

The hotel is very bright and clean. Comfortable lobby and a though the pool is small the patio is beautiful.

For a spacious room, the shower was small. The service at level four restaurant was very slow. We stayed there for two nights and on both days for breakfast and evening drinks, the service was slow. Staff were pleasant but getting food and drink to the table was slow.

The restaurant menu can be improved to match the hotel. We love the breakfast menu - it can be expanded a little more. We love 54 and have made it our home every time we are in Gauteng.My family booked 4 rooms. I was getting married, and so 6 more family members also booked at 54 - but apart from rose petals on the bed - not even a bottle of bubbly or something to celebrate us. I think the hotel could have done better.

Located in the heart of Rosebank, this hotel was very central to walk to the mall and the many wonderful nearby restaurants such as Marble and Proud Mary. We thought this area was convenient and safe for our brief stay in Jo'burg, and we parked our car downstairs in the private garage. Well-appointed and comfortable rooms, with an excellent breakfast of made to order items.

HORRIBLE

The lack of professionalism and empathy demonstrated by the staff. I called them at 9h in the morning to confirm whether I would be able to check-in on time. This was assured. However, the unit unilaterally changes with check-in time without any possibility of cancellation. There was complete abuse of the fact that payment had been processed.

Location is perfect for our work stay, rooms are a good size, staff lovely, service great and quick, bathrooms are well appointed. Loved the roof top bar and the food was great! Great options for breakfast as well.

The rooms are super dark, dark furniture and limited lighting.

Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good- not just a buffet- one could order separate dishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Perhaps more coffee pods would have been nice.

Very stylish hotel with a surprising French flair to the decor. In the heart of Rosebank which seems to be the posh expat/embassy quarters of Jo'burg. Room was large and comfortable, good bathroom with great lighting. Very nice garden and good restaurant upstairs with cool bar -- overlooks a lap pool but we didn't have time for a swim. We did have a very nice dinner however and the staff was great.

Hotel is adjacent or somehow connected to a vast mall, which is handy, but the way back to the hotel is hidden and confusing. Nonetheless, mall access would be convenient for some.

Excellent choices for the cook to order menu, which came out very nice and delicious for those we tried. Good selections of drink, pastries, and fruits as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and breakfast every day.

54 on Bath made my a stay in Rosebank very pleasant. The hotel is in a great location with many restaurants and bars. The hotel graciously upgraded me to a suite with a great view of central Johannesburg. The staff were very attentive and kind. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Everything was perfect - The staff is AMAZING, the hotel is absolutely stunning, rooms are clean and comfortable. Food (breakfast and dinner) is really good with a vast variety. There's a direct access to Rosebank Mall which makes it perfect if you're only there for a few days.
