- Its a gem of a property with the hotel and restaurant interspersed with trees and dappled sunlight. Its small, so there are no long walks and the staff are fantastic. I'm a seasoned world traveler with 'Gold for life' status at two international chains. It says a lot that I'll forgo those in favor of a boutique hotel. I have, and I will in the future.

- The pool feels overlooked and hadn't been cleaned in the morning, so we didn't fancy using it when we got there, which was a shame. The bed creaked, but was comfortable enough. At breakfast, the staff weren't as attentive as we'd have liked, as they seemed distracted by setting up for a large party for lunch. It wasn't clear from the staff what the breakfast offer included, e.g. self-serve area, ordering off menu.
- The TV was shockingly inadequate - only 6 channels, all news channels! If we hadn't brought our own smart box to watch our own Netflix, the whole night would've been ruined

The location was great for our visit to friends in Sandton. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed lunch in the leafy courtyard.
