Great place for a staycation in Jozi. Apartments are great and the staff is really accommodating! I had made a bit of a mix up with my bookings and they were great in helping me sort it out and still keep my family comfortable.

Room was nice, reception was welcoming, food was tasty and location is good, not really far from airport. Really good experience!

Suburb setting with modern finishes

Staff at the gate and front desk, not helpful to offer better customer service, they treat everyone like permanent residents. It's more about self service, no Uber deliveries allowed, they need code for gate usage, they don't want Uber to enter to collect.

Great space around a green environment

They need a code everytime you need to use the gate. The staff is arrogant from security to front desk. Booked here countless times but the service has no value for comfort. No complimentary shower items at all. Room needs maintenance, sliding door fell while chilling at the balcony. Bathroom soap holder needs fixing.

The hotel is very beautiful and feels safe. The restaurant is nice and the breakfast was tasty. The staff were friendly and the rooms were kept clean.

During our stay, there was a very strong and unpleasant sewage smell, which was quite bothersome. Another issue was the lighting. Many outdoor areas were poorly lit at night, with very few signs, making it easy to get lost.

Well equipped clean room

Not their fault but in the evenings there was a smell of sewage on the whole property.

The Place is beautiful

There was No Proper Communication from reception as we called feeling Cold ? , They advised thath we must use the blanket the Aircon is not Working and only got Heater the next day There was no Cultery only got it from the cleaning lady out room was G16. Initially we were out in the wrong room and had to change it

Secured gate entrance. Staff on site at office all the time. Nice restaurant onsite didn’t use. Looked lovely. Pool. Tennis court. Nice grounds. Close to mall. Bed comfy. Heating in the bedrooms ??. Nice bathroom. Kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave plates etc Great patio. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Pedal court included, easy check in/check out. Nice modern feel to rooms.

Rooms were cold, the window aircon was not working properly and switched off completely. Staff brought single heater for 2 rooms.

Kind and helpful staff at reception. Easy check-in experience. Asked for extra blankets and although there weren't any, the kind man at reception made a plan for us. Grateful :) Super cool man at security, shoutout.

Breakfast and location excellent.

No dishwashing liquid provided in the kitchen. The requested baby cot was unavailable as it was provided to another family before we arrived.

The heater/aircon didn’t work and they wouldn’t provide us an extra blanket and it was very cold.

My room was cute and comfortable.

The corridors are a bit dark and hospital-like

The grounds were interesting and seemed well laid out. Reception was good.

Unfinished room - the ceilings were unpainted and dirty. The TV is on the wrong wall. There's a kitchenette but no pots and pans! Ridiculous.

Horrible

The apartment was in poor condition and quite noisy, so I ended up doing a deep clean myself. We checked in late, which given the cleaning staff enough time to finish cleaning. My son, who is 9, and I had to sleep on bed linen that had yellow spots. I reported this issue, but the lady at the reception seemed uninterested in resolving it and instructed me to send an email. I did so and spoke to a different lady at the reception who told me to send any evidence I had to their WhatsApp. I complied, but then received a message from Black Brick Apartments stating that the manager would meet with me, which never happened. Additionally, the cleaners made jokes in the corridors about the situation.

The environment was so peaceful

We didn't have wine glasses and something to wipe the sink and our hands in the kitchen

I thought it had very good facilities, that it was very modern and price very reasonable. Very clean as well

Not much to say, it wasn't easy to do laundry due to not having a form available in reception but its ok

The fact that there are no covered walkways or umbrellas when it’s raining and it was raining today .

Place looked beautiful and Location was good

Aircon only produced cold air and it was raining and cold. The bedding wa dirty and pillows had a sweaty smell

The location and the apartment it was beautiful the grounds outside felt like a serene getaway and the location convenient and close to everything. The unit was cosy and lovely. It is not a full self catering but they do have some dishes and plates and a oven just not knives, pots etc...

The room was very cold, the heater doesn't work and they didn't have an extra blanket. Also there wasn't anything to wash dishes, but luckily room service came every day. And they got me a 2nd comforter to keep me warm. But I would recommend fixing the heater or getting blankets for the unit.
