Pros +
- It was peaceful and comfortable if only they fixed the bathroom issues.
- Love the location, cleanliness, size of room and overall experience of hotel
- Everything was very comfy and we definitely enjoyed our stay. We will recommend it to our friends and stay there again.
Cons -
- The bathroom in room 24 had mould in the shower, and the extractor fan was hanging from the ceiling, causing the bathroom to remain damp and develop an unpleasant smell after every shower. The door had also swollen due to the excess steam. In addition, the guest in the room next to ours spoke loudly throughout the night, making it difficult to rest.
- We asked directions from a cleaning lady and she signed and complained that she was very tired...however gave us directions....we were also very tired after travelling more than a 1000 km
- The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors talking in the middle of the night and that disturbed our sleep. Also, the toilets do not have windows

The place was clean, spacious and not that far from the Diamond Pavilion Mall

The service, the facilities, and the location of the hotel.
Beautiful place and room, outside and gardens are very neat.
The towels were old and worn. The bedlamp and USB ports did not work. The aircon did not work (probably the remote was faulty)The shower had mould on the grout , which should not be there if it was cleaned daily. The shower drain also dammed up when showering. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not workThere was no hairdryer in the room (as mentioned on Booking.com)The front desk clerk gave me the email address of the manager where I can send my complaint, but that mail was not delivered (there seems to be an error on their server)..I have stayed there before on numerous occasions and it usually is very good, but this time it was really substandard. I will not be using their facilities again
Nothing much it wasn't to good the services are degrading
The house keeping was poor mirrors were not being cleaned and no clean towels, had to request for them the only thing they did was to make up the bed's. Not sure if it's a new policy they have but they don't have milk in their rooms anymore it's just tea n coffee
Alway love the close location to the restaurants.Firm cumfortable beds and quiet airconditioner.Big bathroom and clen linen.
The kettle seem to be leaking all ofer the sideboard......most of the nozzles on the rain shower are blocked....needs a good cleaning maybe.
The staff friendliness
The aircon of the room that we booked was not working so we had to be moved to another room. It was ok but the shower was pooling
The fact that the reception area closes at 22:00 and I had a problem with my neighbours making noise and playing music after 22:00 when I called the reception area the phone just rang and went to voicemail ?I couldn’t sleep and I had an early morning so it really inconvenienced me because I was already tired, when I booked the room I was at was supposed to be having an iron and hairdryer but none of them were there, the pool was not so clean and had to go ask them to open the pool about 3times,the walls are not soundproof you can literally hear your neighbours going by their business while you’re trying to sleep.
The rooms are dirty, they don’t clean they just change towels only
About The Place... It's A Good Hotel To Stay, There Wasn't Noise,Good Relaxation Time You Can Have And The Atmosphere Around It Smells Good.
... I Never Received The Wifi Password And The Signal Of The Dstv Was Gone... And I Didn't Receive The Breakfast.
No customer service. Room was filthy and dingy. Staff nonchalant about queries and more interested in having chats amongst themselves and ignoring customers.Room 58 is notnfit for any guests, they should never make it available to customers.
Breakfast was okay, and the deluxe room was great. The WiFi was fast enough for work; and the property was very clean.I particularly appreciated the quietness, particularly if you are travelling for work.
The access control for the gate is on the wall. Having to get out of the car at night to tap the card was a bit unsettling, particularly in the heavy rain. Please consider giving guests remote for the gate.
I didn't know there was breakfast included in my accommodation, so I paid for my breakfast separately. Even dinner, I was not told or given dinner vouchers to eat from the Hassar restaurant. It was interesting and different. As an architect, the buildings and fittings are heritage and amazing!!!!
Outside my room - the veranda was dirty. The room had no nice view, straight on to the veranda. I am asthmatic and I need a room without carpets, but I was told that you do not have rooms. So, I had an allergic reaction.
Three good restaurants in the building.Secure parking.
Room had an old window in the bathroom that was mirrored out, and no curtain. I was uncomfortable with the privacy as I wasn't sure what was visible from the other side.
Breakfast not up to standard and not the price paid. Not ready at 06:30 . Could only eat half of ommelet, very tough. Did not visit for breakfast due to the poor quality. Asked for toast, it never arrived. Fruit jiuces stood overnight in glass containers, not fresh.Paid R179, shamefull for a 4 star hotel?
Air conditioner leaked water and TV did not work
Location and room
The bathroom flooded because the let out was clogged up
The location
The shower floor was dirty and the fridge it’s like it has not been cleaned since it was bought
Location was great
Room was not cleaned properly. Coffee mugs were left from previous visitors. Old clothing found behind table next to bed.
