room i booked wasn't room i booked online was told that i needed to phone beforehand to confirm then i had to complain after climbing all that stairs with kids to find a room with single bung beds then climb back down to ask for a different room to accommodate me and kids

The distance to the beach was perfect, breakfast was OK.

My kids were not happy with the TV which did not have DSTV channels. And we were all not happy with our. Beds

The breakfast was nice. The room was clean and the view is so beautiful.

1.Geyser. My room didn't have hot water for 2 consecutive days2.Breakfast was fine, but the sausage wasn't greatBooking.com made a mess of my booking. I'm still not pleased at all with how Booking.commessed up my booking. That was the low light of my stay at The Chapman Hotel.

We left without having full breakfast. There was a big group of people and all the tables were occupied ?

The only thing I didn't like is that we were so hungry and we had to leave and get breakfast somewhere else

Power point to charge laptop and phone was not working, ripped out of socket with open wiring showing. TV did not work. No soap in shower container.

Hotel needs a bit of TLC and a centre hand rail for us oldies to climb the steep stairs outside reception.Breakfasts were good - had guest around for lunch - quality of food not up to scratch

The breakfast was good, exactly what we asked for. I would have like a room with more of a sea view I had room 17, perhaps next time another room. We met the owner and he is an exceptionally friendly man. Portia who assisted us is fantastic and friendly as well.Well worth a visit and stay at this hotel.

They did allow us a late check out, which was super convenient

Pictures online make the accommodation look a lot better than it actually is. Pool also looked huge but is tinyWe arrived in the rain...not their fault, but there is no under cover area so we had to firstly walk in the rain to the reception area which is not easily accessible and then in the rain upstairs and along open corridors, so we were soaked by the time we got to our room. The aircon in our room did not work, so I called reception twice but no one answered. I did not want to walk through the rain again. We could not open windows, due to mosquitoes so the room was very hot and I battled to sleep. They advertise free wifi, which is available, but they don't tell you that it is not sufficient to stream Netflix. We ordered croissants for breakfast and they had run out

Good location. The hotel offers breakfast, however we chose not to eat at the restaurant.,

The room is in desperate need of a refresh. We didn’t even want to use the bathroom, with how dirty it felt. The beds sunk down in the middle. While there was an ocean view, the balcony was filthy with rubbish on it. Milk was provided in the room, but no tea or coffee.

It's very clean and the location is perfect, I enjoyed their Chapman's breakfast,the view was beautiful, irequested sea view and I got it.

The beds ,my bed I was not happy with the quality of the bed it caved in when I sat or slept on it.

The staff try but the property is in poor condition.

Not up to standard. In serious need of renovation. Did not even stay the night.
