DAKAR HOTEL

The breakfast was wonderful. The restaurant was fabulous. I had the best red wine and the best steak and the best empanadas. I’ve had all in Argentina.

I never knew when housekeeping was coming. Sometimes I come back from breakfast and wanted to do some work, but housekeeping was there so I had to leave. Another time housekeeping never came until the end of the day and so I just had them clean the bathroom. However, when housekeeping was there they did an absolutely fabulous job!

Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good, and it was served in the hotel next door (Gran Hotel Dakar).

Bathroom needs updating. Windows and walls thin, a lot of noise. Parking a little tight.

The overall facilities are not as shown in the advertisement, the towels were old and dirty and the beds uncomfortable with low hygiene standards.

Decent hotel for a good price . Helpful staff . Free car park a bonus.

Considering the cost of, not much .

It has a small outdoor swimming pool which was great during the hot weather. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, close to the shopping streets, only a few blocks away.

The breakfast could have more hot choices (it has only eggs). The bathroom glass door fell off while my son was in the bath, the staff came and cleaned it up quickly and moved us to another room.

The location and parking

Screaming for renovation… everything is so used. Shower is broken, water tap almost falling down, toilet seat is even lost the colour. Mold in the shower. No sound isolation. Poor cleaning. Breakfast just okay.

The staff were extremely helpful, they helped us book a wine tour within 10 minutes of arriving at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. The room and linens were very clean.

The street outside is extremely noisy so it was very difficult to get a peaceful nights sleep.

No room service, they have a rule to forbid taking food from their restaurant to the bed Also A/C heater function did not work properly.The windows were really thin, cold would get in the room.

It’s good location and all facilities were clean. Staff at the breakfast area were super helpful and nice.Breakfast was good too.

Internet didn’t work for me and my sister at all, tried different networks provided by the hotel but it was impossible to surf the internet. When we complained at the reception they didn’t seem to care much. I had booked an extra night but decided to cancel because of this reason. You should be aware of this if you’re travelling without mobile data.

Total lack of technical support with wifi issues

Rooms with total lack of furniture, it looks like we are on a picnic. The wifi in my room never worked.

Not a lot to say here, some staff at breakfast were friendly. Reception were helpful if I had questions but they looked like they didn't want to be there.

The room was in need of a paint and clean up. There was a leak from something on the balcony The blind on the wondow was ripped and wouldn't open. Pillows were rock hardAn adjoining room was noisy. Travelling solo and felt like the people next door were too close as could hear them talking and moving around, the walls were so thin.
