Friendly and helpful staff. Good space downstairs for lounging and chilling out. Reasonable wifi. Clean. Towels provided. Good location, though it also means it can be noisy because there are people out and about in the middle of the night.

Creaky floorboards. Our room had a small hole in the floor so be careful not to drop anything.

They gave us a room which wasn't prepared, finally we changed for a better room.

It’s an old women’s bath house and it’s 3 blocks from the main harbor. It’s mostly a volunteer staff and the people were great. Also a great traveler group. I especially liked the kitty cat named Harry. :)

I stayed for a month to finish a novel I was writing. My problem is the manager/ owner held my 80,000 peso deposit for three weeks instead of the one week max agreed upon in writing by contract. No excuses there because I left it clean and they took photos and agree everything was okay. He had my PayPal info to use. It wasn’t until I threatened to write a scathing review that the owner/manager refunded my deposit into my PayPal account. Warning to all, DO NOT GIVE A REVIEW UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT.

this place is excellent, the staff are cool, the other guests were cool, the town has a wonderful vibe.book this place you will not be disappointed !

my only issue was the locker for my bag was a bit small, thats it !!!

No ambiance at all. Stayed 3 days and nothing was going o , nothing organized to meet people. the staff was not really polite

It was a great hostel. I had a 3 bed dorm to myself, so I was happy! The bed was very comfortable. Its an old creaky wooden floored double storied house with lots of charm and character. Good relaxing spaces. Excellent position in the most interesting part of Valparaiso. Some steps to walk up but manageable. The staff cleaned the kitchen every day which was excellent. Showers had hot water. Recommend.

the hostal has a lovely outdoor and indoor common area and is a 10 minute walk from a bunch of fun bars and the cerro alegre looking point. it’s not the cheapest hostal but it’s good quality for the price and has some perks like the free(ish) walking tour and discount flixbus tickets. i always check for bedbugs and found none.

The hostel is really colourful, cosy and good! Breakfast was really good with many options. The bed was comfy and linen was clean. Wi-fi connection was really good for work. I can definitely recommend this place!

I appreciate them giving me a large towell because I only use a small one when I travel. The internet was good, and there are tables to work with your laptop.

Good location, staff and clean. The rooms are nice and the beds comfy! All that you need to visit Valparaiso and socialize :)

Decent place, we stayed a few steps after the hostel was quiet, had hot water, bed were big

Everything was great. Simple, non luxurious, but acceptable, and clean. The staff is kind and the breakfast fantastic.

I liked having a variety of travelers I could get to know and get information. The building was artsy.

It was good value but sharing with many other people can have its moments.

I have nothing negative to say about this hostel, spacious dormitories, friendly staff who provide very good information, they give you an extra blanket if you ask for it, towel included, I didn't try the breakfast but it looked incredible for the price.
