- its in the town, as all other hotels. Breakfast is really nice. They also have apartments which saved the day
- Nice StaffGreat breakfastGood sauna
- Great hotel for cross country skiing lovers. Very close to the skiing tracks and the city center. Amazing breakfast but also good diner (buffet available). Shop to rent ski etc. in the same building. There is also communal sauna and individual and a gym. Bus going to the airport stops/leaves in front of the hotel. We went beginning of April so not too busy.
Cons -
- The room that was originally given to me had a very badly looking stain in the balcony. It was completely unpresentable. We had to pay extra for an upgrade to the apartments when, given the reason for changing rooms, should have been for free.
- Nothing shocked me. I agree with some other comments that it can looks a bit old but not on a bad way I would say, it gives a style I liked.
- I think the room looked a bit old, considering the price for one night. Some things might need a bit of a renovation, expecially the shower and the wash basin.

The hotel is nice, in a perfect spot and has a beautiful view. The room has a nice little terrace to admire the snow all around. The food at the restaurant was great and so was the breakfast. The staff was super kind. We had a pleasant stay here!

Great location, kind service, amazing breakfast, clean rooms
Good breakfast,location
No Smart tv
Very close to the meeting points of safaris.
Poor sound isolation, very crowdy, huge hotel
Not to be reccomended
The price/quality is nowhere near what it should be. We stayed in a superior room, which was supposedly renovated recently, but felt like it was straight from 30 years ago. The room/hotel feels outdated, the bathroom was tiny, unfinished and felt like a complete afterthought. Bed was tiny, and as soft as a cloud (not in the good way). To wrap things up, the sockets in the room all had burn marks on them, so charging your phone here might not be the best idea.Breakfast was mediocre at best, plenty of choice, but quality wise, again not at the level it should be when charging the money that this hotel does
The hotel is in a central location and offered a decent buffet breakfast. The apartments were comfortable and included a private sauna.
Housekeeping was listed as included on our booking but when we arrived we were advised it is only included for stays of 8 nights or more.
i liked the sauna in the apartment.
pillows and mattresses need to be replaceable. also the cleaners should come and leave the towels. in 5 days never came to change the towels.. all the time need to go to the reception and ask for towels.
Plentiful and delicious breakfast! Delightfully surprised at the array of off-season fresh fruit like melons, watermelon, and plums. Enjoyed the variety of cold and hot drinks and juices, as well as the hot foods. I didn’t eat the waffles. We had an apartment which was a manageable and pretty walk to the main hotel, even for my mobility challenged mother. We had two 2 bedrooms and one 1 bedroom booked. Their configurations were all different, and the management allowed us to check in early and had booked rooms close together, which was great. My parents really enjoyed their 1 bedroom and felt it was cozy. The sauna was lovely and I especially enjoyed the ability to go out to the snowy balcony to cool ourselves down. We stayed only 2 nights so didnt’ need it, but there was plentiful storage — Altho not a ton of space to open up the suitcases themselves. There are a few shops plus a bar and restaurant which were appreciated. I wish they had a bigger lobby to just hang out, esp if you couldn’t check in early — but not a deal breaker. The reception person was very kind. Walking distance to Kuukeli (?) shop and many restaurants. We had a car and the parking was easy and convenient.
For breakfast: If I had to grumble, sometimes there was a line for the waffles, which made it difficult to get to the coffee! I understand this is a big hotel that caters to tour groups, so it had that kind of “big group” vibe to it. This is not a critique but an observation. Our rooms were nice enough, but the furniture is definitely utilitarian and “family” oriented (dings and such). This goes for the dishes in the room — I think there was only 1 bowl (!) but some big mugs that worked for things like soup and cereal. In one bedroom, the bed was squished in a way that we literally couldn’t close the door!!!
Stay here if you like noise from other guest rooms
I thought it was jet lag playing tricks on my eyes and I was transported from Finland to ChinaHeaps of young Chinese college students partying in the room opposite with the door wide open
Location.
Run down in some rooms. Mold in a shower. Housekeeping was inconsistent/overwhelmed. This hotel caters to large tour groups coming on package deals. They overrun the place.
Nothing special but nice room, excellent breakfast whit a lot of fresh options
TV not smart ( no netflix, internet ecc.ecc)
The location was great. The personell was super friendly and the breakfast was good. The room had a private sauna.
The room felt uncomfortable, it looked clean but it felt a bit dirty. Comparing the comfort level to the price, it was too expensive.
Nice staff, good brekkie.
I stayed at a room that was straight from the 80s. Everything worked and all, but time sure had stood still.
Coffee making facilities in the room, comfy bed and great breakfast selection
Room was far away from the reception and restaurant
Nice area and probably great in winter time. Great breakfast. Nice staff.
Very hot rooms, no air condition, not summer season hotel… worn and old feeling in hotel.
A very dog-friendly hotel with good location. Tasty a la carte and excellent buffet breakfast.
Rooms need some refreshing.
The staff are helpful, good location, close to nature trails, my room was specious and had a balcony. Breakfast was OK.
The hotel and rooms are dated. The orange carpets in the hallways look totally worn out. The hotel could be really nice after some refurbishing.
