The staff was a game changer. They are amazing

The room was shockingly small and was a view of a wall.

The location is excellent for a business traveling. Offices, government institutions, the best Moz seafood restaurants are within walking distance.

The hotel definitely needs some maintenance. It does not comply with 5* rating. However, it's still price/quality competitive.

Dinner wasn’t so great but I think it’s just that I’m from a different country so it’s a bit of culture differences.

The stuff was very friendly and they knew what they were doing.

The paying on the facility, I didn't like that at all because the price changed when I got there and they changed the value from 3.5 to 3.3.

I liked Balisio Matebele the receptionist Service, he was very helpful from the time we arrived till the last day. Also the breakfast was delicious.

Language barrier

The breakfast is same menu for the whole five days no change and the bed is very uncomfortable and worn out n the towels are worn out bad well no variety in the kitchen except their speciality which is buns and baked stuff

It's a great place to be. Very friendly and hospitable staff. The hotel looks great, cozy, and private. They also have a taxi service from the airport to the hotel. There are afternoon snacks delivered in the rooms, I am not sure whether this is served on a daily basis, as I only received the snacks in my final week. My overall experience was great, and I wouldn't mind visiting again.

The best area in the dining area is reserved for management. This seems to suggest the real VIP is the management, not the guest. The taxi service after hours is not guaranteed, I had to organize my own transport even when it was confirmed there will be a taxi waiting on arrival. Stains on the towels, I wish towels could be inspected before delivered to rooms. The stains leave a lot to imagination. These are the only issues I had, and I think they are fixable.

Staff and the garden of the hotel is really nice and a big asset.

Unfortunately, the owners don't want to cough up the money for a major renovation, which is sorely needed. The furniture, carpet, etc is outdated and without a major renovation the hotel is in a slow but inevitable decline.

When I asked for a menu a hand written menu with only one item on it was providedI stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, I needed to extend the stay by one night. I was not able to do this at the reception. I had do do the booking on line which cost me R500 more for the additional night than what I paid per night for the previous 5 nights The room was extremely noise as on a Sunday night people would race their cars up and down the street - not the fault of the hotel - I had a road facing roomIt rained at night - the DSTV signal was interrupted for the duration of the rainThe lift was broken

The bath had no plug and I could not bath my child , I enquired at reception and they said its broken and could fix it the next day which was not done

The aircon in the room didn't work properly. They advertise themselves as a 5 star hotel but it is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was ok but nothing great. The security guard begged for money

The hotel is great however breakfast and meals generally we not great for a 5 star establishment, I hope it is dropped standards affected my COVID

The hotel is old and run down. The hotel is definately not a 5 star. Room need a deep clean, there is mould in the bathroom and carpets were dirty. Each guest only gets one pillow and bath plug didnt work. They kept running out of food at the buffet breakfast.
