Pros +
- The view from the room was pretty nice
- Sheets on bed was clean. Shower and closet worked. Pretty comfortable temperature in room.
- Breakfast was good, plentiful with nice staff and pleasant quiet music.
Cons -
- Most uncomfortable place I have stayed ever. I think there is mold in my room because my asthma kicked in .
- Sovietish look.
- Receptionist was indifferent, they should be taught a bit more of what a good customer service is. Old times are long gone, people expect a bit more politeness and a smile when they pay money for a service. Second, the whole experience of spending the night in the hotel was unpleasant - noisy room, people slamming doors, uncomfortable, hard beds and shower that sprays water all over the whole bathroom floor. This hotel is perfect for people who want an experience from the Soviet times.

The hotel is in a great location, quite close to everything. The room itself was basic, but nice and clean, seemed to have been renovated not too long ago, which was such a relief after seeing the rest of the hotel. Bed was comfortable and the views were good.
The building itself is quite strange - serves several businesses as well as a hotel. There is an old soviet style elevator that takes you to the upper floors, the doors open to a super uninviting brown hallway with lino floors, like in an old hospital and smells exactly like that. With some work it could definitely be much nicer. The staff members were generally quite uninterested, apart from one who was nice and friendly. We also had breakfast, which luckily was cheap 6€ and free for a child as there was not much to eat - very little choice and basic, but anyway most of the dishes were empty, even water and juice, we notified a member of staff, but nothing was added or drinks topped up and there were people who came after us… We later notified the receptionist as well, but I read in comments, that it’s standard practice. We moved to the other hotel in town for the other two nights of our stay and wish we had done it from the beginning.
The hotel is located in the very heart of Rēzekne and from the balcony of my room on the 7th floor, I had a great view of the city center and of the surrounding area. The room was warm and comfy. The breakfast was plentiful and it is served in a beautiful restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel which offers a panoramic view of the city center.
The bathroom is very tiny and hard to turn around in and to do the things the bathroom is for. It is a bit cheap to provide just one teabag and one packet of sugar. A bit expensive.
Very delicious
Pancakes, eggs, fruits, vegetables, coffee
The hotel is close to main places and the university in Rezekne. It also has a connection with a Pizza restaurant so everything is in a common place.
normal economy hotel, clean room, pizzeria in same building - solution for dinner.
Breakfast - I hate oven-baked omelettes.
We stayed for 1 night and this hotel is perfect for such short stays. We enjoyed the view of the city from the 7th floor and the bed - it was comfortable and big enough for the 2 of us. We also appreciated the included kettle and fast WiFi internet connection.
You will probably see this in other reviews and experience it yourself if you choose to stay -- dated interior and elevators of the USSR era. I wouldn't advise to drink tap water, better boil first.
Room was clean.
Fire alarm went off 3 times during night. No shampoo in the shower. Broken shower curtain holder.
The location is good. Breakfast was also good and there was a variety to choose from.
The floor that we were had strong smell of smoking, and even in the room, I could smell smoke from cigarettes although I opened a window. The walls was thin so you can hear neighbours. Everything worked in the bathroom although it definately have seen some time however my friend in another room didn't have hot water.
Location is good, breakfast was tasty, on contrary to some other comments, my shower was ok, there was enough hot water.
Could have renovation, but then price would be higher.
Location is perfect. Breakfast was classic and delicious.
Rooms are old and outdated. A major renovation is needed.
Generally as per 3 star hotel - everything is fine. The room for 3 persons was quite spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was ok. The most amazing feature were the views. Will stay again :)
The bed was a bit narrow - we had three single beds in our room.
The hotel is located in the heart of Rēzekne, only a short walk from the bus station. The main attractions of the city as well as a number of shops and cafes are all within a walking distance from the hotel. The room on the 6th floor was immaculately clean and warm. The view from the balcony was beautiful.
The bathroom was tiny, but also clean. I wish there had been at least a plastic glass there. The room was too expensive for such an unpretentious hotel.
Sufficiently good accommodation for one night during business trip in very heart of the city, however no extra perks or facilities are available. Breakfast very basic.
24h access
Room is acceptable. Bathroom is not - old, and in bad quite ugly condition. Was very noisy. Till 1:00 am was noise comming from other floors via air duct. Honestly got a feeling like 20 years back, living as a student in dormitory. Someone partying somewhere downstairs.Upstairs someone having a noisy time with lady, while TV turned on to mask noises.Didnt enjoy my stay.
It nothing special but it was good value of money. Room even has kettle and hairdryer, it was clean and staff was friendly.
Very old, dirty rooms. Bed was not fresh, carpet ad floor were dirty, bathroom is full with silicone and not clean. Breakfast was okay but a lot of small flies were flying around the food there...
Rated from a backpackers point of view, it was excellent. I had a single room with a balcony. It was very clean with ironed linens. Comfortable and practical small, but big enough, room with a kettle and a private bathroom. And the most fabulous view from the balcony. Green areas as far as I could see, and a white church in front of it. Even better, you get a wonderful sunset from here as well. There is a fishing net on the balcony, but it doesn't block the view, and it's there to keep the pigeons away. The hotel is staffed 24h, so if you arrive early, you can store your luggage. I was lucky and even got my room early. That way I could catch the green synagogue which has very limited opening hours. Cold drinks for sale in the reception. Coffee machine in the lobby and good WiFi as well.
There is a lovely terrace restaurant, but no smoking tables, so I didn't try it.
