Villa Müllerbeck

No air conditioning - so it was super hot. And nobody had opened the windows before we arrived. So it means, it was 35 degrees inside the room, when we entered. Had to keep the corridor door open and use corridor AC.

Amazing experience. Me and my wife were the only guests at the time, and since there is no 24 hours desk, meaning employees go home for the night, we had a whole villa in beautiful nature next to the lake for ourselves :)We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. Villa has a restaurant on their property, and the chef came over during the morning only to make our breakfast, which tasted amazing, looked like a fancy restaurant dish youd order for 20+ euro, and the size was so big that we left most of it untouched sadly. At our second day we encountered a very friendly lady working in the yard, and after talking for a bit we found out that she is the owner. She was very welcoming and gave off a very positive vibe :)

There is no AC in the room, however opening window above the bed helps, so not a big issue. Wifi reception is very poor, but come on, this place is meant for you to enjoy the nature around, not stare at the screen :D

Villa Mullerbeck was just what we hoped for. We were there with family (grandparents, parents, young children). The hotel was accommodating to our food needs, and the setting was very family friendly. It was near to skiing (we were there for a ski and winter sports trip) and the saunas in the rooms were appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will return!!

Really nothing!!

Lovely view and garden, the room was spacious and cozy. Friendly staff made some last-minute changes to make the breakfast allergy-friendly. The individually served breakfast was beautiful, varied and tasted great.

Liked the location, sauna in the room, best breakfast in town Otepää for sure. Ib been many places there because of work trips.

Needs a bit renovation already. No aircond. In room where is sauna you need simple shower not shower where you need to climb to bath. Im 6’4 so its not so easy and after showering water is everywhere on the floor so not secure to step put from bath as tiles may be slipy.

We had a nice time. Nature and beautiful lake ? there is a place for fishing, playground for children, place for eating outside. The administrator is pleasant and polite. The breakfast was tasty.

Everything was ok

The location is very good, the breakfast is normal (not much fresh food). The room is spacious, but the information leaflet in the room is old-fashioned and left a bad impression on me as a visitor.

I booked a suite with a double bed. Upon arrival, it turned out that it was two beds pushed together with a mattress on top.

The breakfast was really great. The room was quiet, right in the nature. There was a bunny hopping around outside the window in the morning.

The entrance carpet was dirty and not hoovered.Inadequate lighting in the room (only 1 lamp).No soap in the shower dispenser.Shower screen loose fitting ; water dripped all over floor.Badly designed drainage in bathroom ; should have a dedicated drain in sauna, so that sweat does not cover the main bathroom floor.TV had very few channels.No telephone to contact staff with about problems.No facilities for tea or coffee.Staff made no eye contact with me, and only spoke with my wife. I felt largely ignored.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I like the idea of the grouo tables rather than just small 2-4 person tables. The sauna in the room and terrace were perfect for winter. My son liked the fold out couch. It’s safe with outdoor keycard locks inner door locks and room locks.

Larger pillows on the bed would be nice. If there was ski storage and someplace to put ski boots to dry (even a boot mat outside the doors) then that would be good in winter.

Very good breakfast, lots of choices. Room was warm and spacious. Evening restaurant foods also great. Beautiful surroundings and views.

Beds were small and a bit stiff.

Quiet location. close to city center (by car). Nice outside view on arrival at dark. Breakfast pretty ok. Sauna quick to heat up. Hepful and kind staff.

Bed was rather stiff and pillow smallish, rooms were pretty worn out and could use some renovation. Bathroom floor heating was only Full Power (very hot!) or Off, thermostat didn't work.

The location is great, the villa itself is really nice.The breakfast was amazing and the staff very friendly.

Unfortunately, in our room (Sviit) we had the woodlouses. They were everywhere.

Great service! The host was excellent. Food is very good. The restaurant area is magical.

Unfortunately the beds and sleeping quality is poor. Befs are small and not comfortable because of the moving mattress on top of it and very tiny pillows. We booked two rooms and one of them was tripping water from the ceiling. It appeared that it was not the 1st time it had happened but I guess the owner does not care enough to fix the problem.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Very big room and good sauna. Breakfast very good, best pancakes I've got.
