Hotel Karupesa

Everything was thought out, friendly people, good breakfast, seemed to be recently renovated, bike friendly, perfect location for my needs.

I am very picky about sleeping gear. Pillow was little bit small for my taste, single bed was bit too narrow.

Efficiently managed. Close to restaurants and grocery. Lots of outdoor activities to choose from.

Very good breakfast. Excellent wifi. Free parking.

First thing we were thankful for, was that our number was on the 1st floor - we overpacked a little because of the weather, so it was nice to not walk a lot and higher than the 1st floor. We liked that breakfast was inclusive and we liked the buffet. We also liked the light dimming curtains - we went to Pühajärve jaanituli festival and that meant we would come back to the hotel early in the morning, when the sun was rising - and so the curtains were perfect to make the room dark enough to get a good rest. The view out of the window was nice & green - I find it relaxing. The bathroom was also lovely, it had cleaning products and glasses for guests to use for drinking tap water or for teethbrushing and it smelled after magnolia wood there if I'm not mistaken - the ceiling was wooden and that's where the lovely smell came from, reminded me of the smell of a sauna.We had a small fridge in our number - a good addition to put our own food and drinks there to eat a little before sleep. I think we forgot our fridge magnet there, but that's not a big issue - happens ?. By the fridge was a desk which I was happy over, because we could put our laptop there and kiddo could have fun playing games inbetween sleep and our festival visits - we went for 2 nights/3 days.I was also thankful for the receptonist to remind me of my trip planning for next year's visit - certainly will consider coming back!

Nothing considering the hotel, rather the young guests who didn't take away their alcoholic beverages with them and just left them outside.

Excellent location, very clean, super friendly staff and an excellent buffet breakfast, I would highly recommend the Karupesa Hotel.

Really nice hotel just next to Tehvandi ski stadium. Very nice and polite staff. There are parking spots for cars, big room, comfortable beds, decent breakfast. We travelled with kids and also booking an extra bed went really smoothly and as room was big, then it fit nicely to the room. Really great value for money. Otepää is also a really nice area to visit + it is just half an hour drive away from Tartu.

Breakfast area was a bit crowded, but I guess this just happened to be so as there was one event in Tehvandi + it was a long spring day weekend + there were school holidays all over Estonia.

Quietness. Big tv. big bed. nice surroundings for walking.

Probably the best location at Otepää if you are aiming for any sports activities that start from Tehvandi. Friendly staff, clean, reasonably priced.

Thin walls make you aware of anything your neighbors are doing. A double bed is actually two beds put together with a poorly covered pit between the two.

Totally worth the price. Breakfast was good with many options considering the small amount of guests. Best points for the friendly staff both in the reception and at the breakfast.

Our room smelled like smoke and walls are not very soundproof.

Very nice and kind receptionist. Very clean place. Perfect location - next to stadium, restaurant and store. Fridge available. either in the room or in lobby. Suprisingly spacious room!

As usual in such a places - double bed means two twin beds together, there is a gap between matrasses.. Tea kettle is not in the room but available in lobby.

Comfy rooms, friendly staff, dogs welcome, good breakfast, great location, electric car charging.

Bathroom floor was cold as ice.

Found the room to be good value for the price and great for short stay. Heated floor in the bathroom, dogs are allowed (except into the restaurant), free parking. Included breakfast was very nice for my taste.

The soundproofing of the rooms is not great, so the noise would very much depend on the level of politeness and understanding of other tenants.

A cute hotel in Otepää with a good breakfast. Everything went smoothly and we really loved the staff. Parking places were located in front of the hotel.

Comfortable beds. Lovely staff. Mosquito nets on windows. Close to grocerie store. Quiet street. AC in the room. Possibility to do laundry. Good gym. Clean. Hairdryer in the room. Tasty breakfast.

No fridge in room, but shared one in the hallway. Could hear the neighbours through walls.

If you're on sports holiday, they have 2 industry level washing machines and 6 dryers for customers usage. Thats a bonus!

All was good! Clean room, quite, clouse to center and what was important for as-close to Kaariku. Good and enought choice for breakfast.
