    Pros +

    • We had a nice, spacious room. Parking was good. We were close to nice walking trails and the shops and restaurants were within a half hour walk.
    • The breakfast was good, but not great. Only regular coffee and not a pretty atmosphere.
    • Pool, jacuzzi and sauna were a plus in the winter. Breakfast had a good selection

    Cons -

    • We expected a standard kettle and coffee/tea setup in our room. We were able to get a kettle but no coffee/tea were provided.
    • It was really shabby, more like a motel. The pool was tiny, the hot tub was always full of people and we went at the end of September. Better to stay in town and don’t go during summer!
    • 4 stars must have been achieved via a tick box exercise. Room with balcony overlooked a building site rather than the dunes portrayed in the photos, contained within an annexe block that belongs in a 1980s holiday camp.

Nice place. Nice surroundings. Nice facilities. Nice atmosphere.

The restaurant was not as impressive as expected. A little too expensive compared to what you got. When the man in the bar was on break, his substitute was not a very great bartender. He didn't know the drinks and it took quite a while to make them. He had to ask the other guy for help.

Very kind personal and extremely helpful. Have done everything to make our stay better and more comfortable.

The accommodation has been a big disappointment. The room was smelling very strongly and extremely basic for the price paid, far too expensive. A big choc to say the least.

Nice sauna and pool although the pool could have been a bit warmer. Great location where you can easily cycle to town, sandmilen and grenen.

The apartment was a little dated where everything needed a face lift. We paid a lot for not so much.

    Quite, nice location, friendly staff

    We liked everything

The hotel was located 30 min walk from the city center, less than 10 min by bike.Rooms were clean and good and had a nice small balcony overseeing the forest, offering a beautiful and calm start of the day.The staff was really friendly and always helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of cheese, danish pastry, fruits...I would definitely recommend it for an escape from everyday hecticness.

It was everything we expected. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Nice area, to walk our dog. Good stay ☀️

The hotel is beautiful and all the facilities were good. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious!

The staff was really nice and they offered us a bigger room for the cat. They were also super sweet with regards to our animal which is a big plus

I would say the value for money is not quite accurate. We paid a fairly big price but the hotel does not have a lot of facilities. The breakfast was quite basic, the cocktails and everything at the bar was expensive, and the pool was not at all warm - rather cold. The sauna and jacuzzi were fine but still - 1 jacuzzi for all guests is not really enough. The game room was not amazing either, with the pung pong table and equipment being old. Plus, we had to pay for bathrobes which we were expecting to get for free in the room. The sheets were also not the cleanest but ok

    great location, nice spa

expensive, staff that need to be trained

Really good restaurant but bit expensive

I was traveling with a pet, the pet room was smelly. Someone could say that is normal but I travel a lot with my cat and the smell in the room was much more annoying than what I experienced before

Very polite and professional staffGood locationLots of parking spacesDecent breakfastLovely main building

    1. TERRIBLE coffee2. For a supposedly dog-friendly hotel, it is not really dog-friendly: it costs an additional 300 DKK to have a dog in the room (for the first night, and then 100 DKK for the following night; the information is given after paying for the room), and you are promptly exiled to the "poorer" part of the hotel. It is not noted anywhere upon making the reservation, but after paying for the room, we received an email stating that the dog cannot enter the main building with its reception, lounge, and restaurant.3. The rooms where dogs are allowed are located in an annex adjacent to the main building, which is far worse than the main building. 4. You cannot actually ask for a double bed: they mostly offer two single beds put together, unless you reserve a Suite, but then again, can you book an obviously more expensive Suite apartment and have a dog there, since the dog is banned from the main building? 5. The annex is rather depressing, and you can easily hear your neighbors' conversations. I would definitely recommend booking a room in the main building, it is so clearly BETTER than the annex as if it was made by another company, the difference is shocking.6. The wellness center has restrictive hours: one cannot enjoy the jacuzzi after 10 p.m. when it would be just perfect with the stars over your head.

Perfect dog friendly hotel. Helpful staff, very good breakfast. Very nice outdoor heated swimming pool.

    Great restaurant, friendly staff

Shabby external spaces, decor in rooms old and in need of complete refurbishment.

    9LouisePosted on: 7-31-2023

Great amenities, comfortably sized room, good food.

The exterior suggested it would be a much more dated property, but inside it was fresh and comfortable.

    9MurielPosted on: 7-29-2023

We spent 3 nights in a refurbished one bedroom appartement. It was very quiet and comfortable though a bit expensive what is the reason for rating it 9 and not 10. The outside area with swimming pool, whirlpool sauna and gym was very nice and a real plus. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner at Holger Restaurant was brilliant! An excellent stay!

    All good
