Your staff is wonderful. I found hotel employee very helpful and kind.

I would have liked the little towels in the gym also in our bathroom. More of the traditional Swedish limpa at the breakfast buffet.

Easy access

Loud domestic quarrel on the floor. Very loud street noise ( people yelling etc)

Good beds. Secure private parking in basement (ideal for motorcycle travellers).

It is cozy and clean. Very suitable for business travel. I found out last day that they had Sauna and Jacuzzi, too bad no one informed me to use it. The food was nice and everyone was very friendly.

Only thing missing is a boiler in the room, or some coffee machine.

The location is quite convenient for the purpose of my visit. Hotel is a bit old, good lobby and restaurant, but a bit basic in the rooms. the haidrier can be already updated, no coffee machine in the room, i guess good value for price.. for 1 night is ok, not complaining, I just think there is improvement areas :)

The location and the relax area

The room we had was right by the metal staircase and it made very loud sounds every time someone walked in the stair. We woke up multiple times the night we stayed due to loud noises. The ventilation was also super loud and could not be turned off. I made the mistake of thinking a dubble bed was a queen or king so my bad bc the two beds just separated during night.Overall for the money payed for the room it was not worth waking up all night due to sound.

Easy to find city center. Atmosphere in reception bar and night restaurant. Cosy

Crowded do to large groups witch resulted in a feeling of budget hotel. Fantastic food but again the group totally ruined the breakfast

The bed were confortable, the room was clean and the staff was kind. The breakfast was amazing. I do recommend the use of the parking garage as well because it is realy expensive and difficult parking on the streets.

The walls are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from neighboring rooms. The room has only a few facilities, no mini fridge or kettle.

Rooms were extremely clean! Breakfast was great!

The construction on the road was inconvenient to navigate around.

A family oriented hotel, playroom and drinks for the kids. Nice sauna and jacuzzi and really nice breakfast.

Central in Karlstad

The streets around the hotel were completely broken up, the breakfast area was overcrowded and there is only one elevator that is fully occupied during peak times. We accidentally left a soft toy behind and offered the hotel to pay for shipping it back to us, but they refused.

There was no slippers, no proper refrigerator with minibar, surprisingly no toothbrush, no coffee machine in the room, not much during the breakfast (compared to the price), no proper controllable air conditioner.

The coffee machine and pay, and service to it. As sugar? Milk Creaam. And 25kr for a small cupIt's a scam. Best Scandic Hotel is Umea Scandic Plaza. Very friendly,Very helpful, free coffee in small cup for guests in evening and night. Nice takeaway breakfast in early morning. The are best simple as that.

The breakfast was the best we've had in years. Variety was very good, but most of all, the taste was great.Everybody in the staff was friendly and professional.Hotel's restaurant is also top notch.And goes without saying, it was clean. Location is also great.

Neutral statement: yes, the price is high, as other reviewers have also pointed out. But we felt like the price is justified by the quality of service we got.
