Breakfast was a little repetitive.Did not had a chance to visit the city.

Smart TV in the room

Breakfast was OK, but as I am allergic to pork my choices were severely limited, for example there were pancakes which I could have eaten save for that the thongs used to pick them were also used for sausages with pork in them...

The stairs to get into the Hotel from parking level...

Compact room was fine for 2 people. Nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and dinner. Interesting history.

The food was good, and it was quite close to town. It was interesting about the history and small museum in the hotel.

The room was warm and had no air conditioning (but a fan). During breakfast and dinner, it was difficult to find a place to sit. It would be helpful to have someone to seat people or a larger space.

Hello, I try to check at 7:30PM it was automatic check-in system but it says "rooms are not ready" so I had to wait more than an hours. I tried to check in 8:30PM again, system said "Rooms are not ready" so I had to call number written at reception. Luckily person got phone call (after trying several times) and said that their system is somehow not working and 'with balcony room I booked is sold out" and he gave an 404 room without balcony.So I checked in after waiting about 90 minutes and got into room but room had no air-conditioning or even a fan so I walked out and called reception again and he said he will refund money but they haven't refund it yet.It was worst experience! Please refund hotel charges I paid with my credit card Thank you

Noise from the nearby music venue on Friday and Saturday. But it was quiet after about 10pm

The restaurant was a bit soulless but the meals were good

Quiet location, very friendly staff. Interesting hotel as it was formerly a prison. There is an interesting museum downstairs

Good and central location! Very good breakfast! I liked that they made sure there was a fan in the room because of the heat!

A lovely hotel. Good feel. So beautifully clean. Very novel to stay in a prison. Very nicely styled and the incorporation of the history was extremely well done. Bonus with having dinner and breakfast included. Both very good. Would recommend.

We were very satisfied with the overall experience. Location is great, the building looks newly renovated, the room was very comfortable. We had half board included in the room rate and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, good size rooms, perfect for family . We asked for an extra bed (foldable) which they provided both times without issue. Half-voard included and meals were surprisingly good. Considering price. We used a stop over while traveling to and from ski resort further north. Not far from highway. Parking close , free if given ticket from hotel

The loading and unloading of luggage was a little awkward at the front entrance to the hotel.

Food could be better. We stay regularly at Strawberry and this is not to the same standard, but it is good value. We hadn't noticed that there is a boutique Strawberry in Karlstadt!
