Best Western Gustaf Froding Hotel & Konferens

It had a good shower and the TV had Sky News. Also the staff were terrific and both friendly and helpful. The wifi speeds were great.

I couldn't get a double duvet. Only 2 singles. The room was very simple and uninspired. Toilet paper was tough. The location was well out of town so I had to get taxis everywhere.

The beds were very comfortable. Nice staff. Nice location.

It was old and a bit run down. The floor in our room was dirty.

Free parking. Newly renovated bathroom.

The beds and pillows could use some upgrade. There is no ventilation, so you either open the window and tolerate the noise or be content with closed windows.

The staffs were very friendly, room was clean, everything was functional. Breakfast was wonderful.

Comfy and quiet room, free spacious parking

Breakfast could be better (no fresh fruit, no pastries)

Excellent staff. Checked in at 2 am. Smooth all in all. Normal room. Excellent breakfast 10/10

I couldn’t sleep, it was too hot and I was sweating. Staff with very little experience in the restaurant, poor service a

Nice breakfast. Cleaning room

Room worn down. No wardrobe. High price due to standard. Relax out of order.

My room looked brand new, the facilities were just in perfect shape, free parking, good food. Friendly Staff

Loved the staff, they were so nice to me and helped me with my bags and also with questions about Karlstad! The shower was good and the breakfast was amazing

The bed was uncomfortable and the locks in the door were kinda weird. The room itself was just not worth it.

The room was clean, confty beds, bathroom ok. Nice breakfast. Very kind staff.

The hotel is outdated. Require improvements: furniture, slightly stale smell. Too expensive for the facilities provided.

The hotel is far from the city and a bit outdated, but it has a great swimming pool with sauna and terrific breakfast. Great to stay overnight and relax in the pool!

Quite far from the city centre.

Nice clean room and very pet-friendly. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food in the restaurant was not good. Tasted like crap and very expensive. If you can - go eat somewhere else. Same with the breakfast. A lot to choose from but only cheap, store bought options (not homemade).

spacious and clean. newly renovated bathroom, super nice breakfast, wonderful staff

Lack of AC in the room

The room was clean and as expected based on the picuters. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection. The relax area was nice.Good (free) parking options.

It is quite far from the city center with a walk of close to one hour. So walking is not really an option. The room bacame rather warm and with no AC in the room it was a bit hard to sleep. A fan was however provided. The beds where in my opinion not that comfy (probably due to my preferences).

Staff very helpful & pleasant. Convenient location, comfortable & clean room, food - good evening meal but breakfast was superb - good choice

Nil

Very convenient, free parking, close to city center, decent food options

no air-conditioning.

breakfast was excellent didn't have time to experience the pool

guests in breakfast room wearing bathrobes

Fantastic breakfast, pool and spa very nice

Would be nice if the pool was a little deeper, a little outside town, so a car necessary to go anywhere (though plenty of facilities at the Hotel).

Everything about this hotel was great - the room, the restaurant, but especially: the value for money!Breakfast was amazing, friendly staff, convenient location. We'll definitely visit again!

The fish and chips from the dinner menu was too salty.
