The hotel was everything we wanted and more.The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was sparkling clean and had all the necessary amenities. The view of the river and the old city of Karlstad from the room was amazing.There's a large parking lot in front of the hotel with free parking for the guests. The swimming pool and the saunas are in a great condition and really nice to visit after a long day.The breakfast is great - there's plenty of choices for food, all delicious.The staff was friendly and helpful. Totally can recommend to stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is very good. The restaurant overlooks a small, beautiful lake.

A nice hotel in a very nice surrounding, near the river. The restaurant was nice and not overcrowded during the breakfast rush. The variety at breakfast was pretty nice too.

The rooms were small and incredibly hot during the warm summer days.

The staff and check in process

The bed - it was not cleaned and had bed bugs all around and I struggled to sleep.

Breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful scenery outside the hotel. A walk by the river and you will reach the centre easily.

Location, helpful staff, clean, good restaurant Mention to x2 staff members Hedda Braunethielm (20.6.25) who when I asked could I leave our luggage somewhere (we arrived early and had invite from nearby friends to celebrate midsummer) told us we could check in early, then upgraded us to Riverside view with teamaking facilities even I asked for a kettle for original room allocated! We strongly recommending this hotel/chain.And Maya Habbar who was very friendly and helpful 21.6.25

Amazing breakfast with a lot of options and nice view from the room.

Opening times for the gym and the pool were limited and not available before noon.

Great location, just next to the river. Personnel was super helpful and kind. We booked a room with our dog and baby. Hotel provided bed and water bowl for dog, as well some treats and poop bag. For baby we got crib. Really baby and dog friendly hotel and personnel. Great communication with hotel before hand. Maybe not mentioned, but hotel has gym, saunas and small swimming pool - great to relax after busy day. Room has extra towels and pillows if needed. Great options of food for breakfast. Hotel is cca 20min walk from city center. There were also bicycles to rent, but we did not need that.

Restaurant had poor menu at weekends but that was not apparent until you sat down and were presented with a different menu to the one on the large board at the entrance. 2 simple pizzas and a fairly mediocre hotel buffet and a hamburger. This and the hotel was fully booked! Kids were running up and down the corridors and playing ball there until after 10pm. This is no fault of the hotel but a sign to say at least that the corridors should be respectfully quiet after 9pm might have helped.

Green area, close to city center. Very pet friendly hotel, there is special area where you can have breakfast with your dog inside hotel and outdoor terrace for warmer seasons. The breakfast was good, lots of options even for one of our travelers who is dairy-free and doesn't eat meat. The location was gorgeous, as we had a great view to the river from our window.

The room was very hot due to not having air conditioning, so we had to have our window open at all times. The room also doesn't have a standing shower, but a bathtub, and we both had to bend down a little to be under the water stream. The price for the night was also quite high considering the level of the accommodation.

The room size was small for 3 beds, which means small for families.

Location, pool. Ability to eat at the restaurant.Breakfast was ok, but nothing impressive. The dining area was clean and we got a place to eat.

Rooms are to hot even if the fans are on. The restaurant has pretty dirty floor. I only wonder how often someone cleans it.
