Kind staff, central location and a great breakfast.

The room was a bit small and the shower was a bit underwhelming. Great value for the price though.

uncomfortable bathroom/shower, unconvinient staff hours, I could not reach any staff prior to arival to ensure it went smooth, and as a result, it did not.

The hotel is located on a busy street in the center of Karlstad, the train station is a 7-minute walk, shops, cafes, and restaurants are nearby, close to the park and museum. The rooms are neat, the room has everything for convenience. Yes, the shower and toilet are small and you need to get used to using them correctly, but this does not cause much inconvenience. The main thing is that the shower and toilet are clean and everything works well. The hotel has a pleasant common area for breakfast and lunch; free coffee, tea, and cookies. Since the hotel was not packed to capacity, the administrator even allowed to look at a couple of rooms on different sides and choose the one I liked (on one side the rooms overlook a busy street, on the other there is a view of the roof of a neighboring building).

The location was excellent, along with the general upkeep of the rooms. The staff (when they were visible) were also friendly and very helpful. The facilities were a bit basic, but apart from the broken shower knob was good, especially considering the price.

The temperature knob in the shower was broken, resulting in a very hot shower that wasn't very satisfactory.The arrangement with checking in and so forth was also a bit strange. But it worked out alright in the end.

The hotel was quite central ( above a store in the central pedestrian zone) but tricky to find since the signage was not obvious. Access was up a flight of stairs, then a welcome elevator. Room was basic, but comfortable with fresh air, good heating and Wifi and a good shower. Continental breakfast was also basic but adequate and coffee, tea, biscuits and apples were freely available at any time from the Reception area. Staff were friendly and helpful and kindly allowed a late checkout due to afternoon train. Handy to supermarkets and shops. Bike hire available at Solsta Hire ( no connection to hotel) near the public library.

Hard to find, so improve your signage please. Otherwise all fine.

I canceled the room because the hotel didn't match the information in the announcement, it was really miserable, they didn't pay the money back.

Metal bunk beds, not a good idea for adults! To noisy when turning. Did not feel safe to sleep at the top. Ridiculous to charge for clean sheets and towels. Just include them in the price. Also maybe an idea to get a vending machine to buy cold water. Shower is terrible.

it was central, clean and staff were friendly and polite. Hot tea and coffee were available with biscuits in dining / breakfast area.

The location is excellent and centrally located within areas of interest and the train and bus station.My room and its ensuite were spotlessly clean.

The window could not be opened because of an external screen, and without air conditioning, the only source of air movement was a desk fan.I found the ensuite bathroom awkward and inconvenient to use.

Great location. Clean. Cheaper than other (totally overpriced!) Karlstad hotels. The bathroom shower is a little strange (see photo), but it actually works fine.
