Herning City Hotel

Location, staff

No bar in the evening, breakfast, facilities, bathroom could be much better for that price

Nice location in City Center.

We could not arrive our first night and we asked only if they could compensate one room(of the two booked) and they would not agree. Upon arrival we were charged additional 160, 00€ for a bed that we did not agree on, after half an hour discussion this was then not charged. In this room there were no conditions for two people to sleep in(maybe two children). One of my friends then slept on the floor. I asked if they could print out tickets for the game for us and they also charged me 0,50€ per papir sheet. Also in the morning they basically throwed us out of one room beacuse some other room was leaking. They entered 10 times with force to our room to check some leaking of the building and we were forced in these conditions to check out early.

Location was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious.

The bed was not comfortable and there was no heating in the bathroom.

Hotel immediately off of walking street in town with multiple restaurants . Room clean and very pleasant . Good secure outside bicycle storage . Bathroom clean and bright . Breakfast was very good with many food choices , hot and cold . Staff very nice but a bit difficult to check in at appointed time because no one was available to let us in to reception or to check us

No one available at hotel for our check-in after 16:00 even though the check in was designated as 16:00 to 18:00 . Made it a problem to get checked into hotel

The Central location, free parking, friendly helpful staff and the extensive breakfast buffet!

Nothing!

Oooh, Location and proximity to ATM, MCH, Bus and Train Stations. I mean the Hotel is all a city goer needs

Lets keep it the way it was, honestly all was fine

The location is great, the hotel is fine, nothing special. Staff was friendly.

there was no hotel wifi, it made it challenging to work.

Breakfast was ideal.Location was ideal.

We were at first unprepared for the limited time the hotel was directly "manned". However, this didnt affect at all our experience. The hotel staff were exceptionally charming and kind.

Clean and tidy rooms friendly staff great location in heart of herning great breakfast

The location is fine, and rooms are decent (if you are lucky to get the room you paid for initially). Nonetheless, I was given a room with a shared bathroom in a flat and had to fight with the staff for hours to get the room I had booked with a private bathroom. I was not the only one who had received a room without a bathroom, so be careful when booking this hotel.

I did not receive the room I had paid for with a private bathroom. I was given a room in a flat without a private bathroom. The bathroom was shared with an elder male. The staff manager was very rude when I asked to get the room standard I booked which included a private bathroom. Upon my enquiry, the manager was very annoyed and refused to refund me, then told me to call booking.com and after an hour of fight and calls, he finally got me a room without any apology. Very unprofessional management and service. It was Saturday night and I was late for my work commitment in the evening, and did not get a shower. Not a hotel to be relied on.

Excellent location in the middle of Herning, easy check-in and good breakfast

We never managed to figure out how to get WiFi working, In room TV should have an option to connect Ipad, Iphone or a laptop

Easy access. Quick check-in (and check out). Fine facilities in the breakfast room and good breakfast buffet.

Nothing to dislike

It was a good location, easy parking, adequate breakfast and helpful staff.

There was an isolating hum in our rooms all night long, not very loud but loud enough that when I woke in the middle of the night it kept me awake and I I tried to find out what was making it and closing the bathroom door seemed to help slightly but eventually only got back to sleep with a pillow over my head.

Good location. Big room. Comfortable beed.

All was OK!

Fabulous location, friendly helpful staff, great room, perfect place to base myself for a busy week.

friendly staff. clean room and good breakfast.

People are very nice at the hotel and every time we need or ask for something, they attend us in a very nice way.

The pictures are a little different than reallity. We expect a little more conditions but it was ok for us.
