Large hotel with lots of facilities (sauna, pool)

The check-in process was a bit slow. The room I had was bit "old style" (I understand though most rooms are renovated). And the price was high (due to handball championship, not really the hotel's fault). Breakfast was quite average... I was e.g. missing a larger choice of fruit

Swimming pool and sauna is very old fashioned-these spaces are more for children or the elderly. There was not enough space and depth in the pool. We didn't like it very much.

Hotel has few scenic paths which I liked.

The hotel is very basic, It lacks many things and some very important ones are:Heating for some reason it is not efficient.Lack of any modern amenities.Cleaning has to be called at the front desk.Even a simple call to reception is a complicated system with wait times

Breakfast

My room was smelling like wet dog, a lot. The hotel is pet friendly and I could have guessed it kist by my room’s smell. I love animals, but this was not ok. The shower conditioner was empty.

Really nice hotel with nice rooms and absolutely wonderful breakfast.Probably the best apple juice I have ever tasted :-)

It's a very beautiful property. We loved renting the bikes and riding to the lake AlmindSo. We loved visiting Silkeborg.

Friendly and engaged staff.Possible to lock-in bikes in a container - and possibilities to wash and clean bikes after use.

A lot of small kids putting fingers in the breakfast buffet - please raise the tables ;-)Add a few more local draft beers to the bar

slipped very badly in the shower. the floors I'm the bathroom are deathtrap. Also no air conditioning.

The restaurant is very good — both dinner and breakfast were very tasty.

I hit my head on the corner of the additional bunk bed. Maybe they could put one of those "child protection" stickers on it.

The taxi rides to and from the property were quite expensive despite the short distance.

As I was away early both mornings the Hotel provided a Grab & Go Breakfast that was of a very good standard. Staff were excellent from reception through to the waiters in the restaurant. Excellent service and everyone spoke really good English.

Nothing to complain about, excellent throughout. The Hotel stay & Food is not cheap but the whole of Denmark is quite expensive so it was the best option for me travelling as a solo traveler.

Quiet, forresty surroundings, didn't feel crowded although we visited in July, free use of frisbee/football/badminton equipment.

What was served for breakfast wasn't entirely our style. Yoghurt in very small portions, cheese with a strange taste, tea from a machine that didn't reach high enough temperatures. Furthermore the water in the pool was cold. After 20-30 min you kind of had to leave because of shivering. On the plus side: because of this it was never that many persons in the pool.

Staff very friendly and nice. Meet cleaning, reception, bar and breakfast restaurant staff. All very polite and nice. Room very nice, bed very good - a little firm, which is also my preference.

No possibility to make a cup of coffee in the room. Not even drinking glass was available. My Wife and I prefer to use water glass when brushing teeth's, so we took cups at the coffee station at the reception.
