Best Western Plus Gyldenlove Hotell

Very spacious room and bathroom. Good breakfast.

The room was a bit hot. Could maybe use an ac for the summer.

Location, courteous staff and very good breakfast

Room was not air-conditioned, so we have to use the fan they provide on request. In summer, especially in afternoon hours, this may be annoying

Good location and easily parked our car.

Rooms rather warm. Unfortunately no air conditioning. Fans were available from reception

Breakfast was excellent, restaurant service was great

Room too hot, bed sagging and uncomfortable

Location, friendly staff

Warm rooms.

Good quality hotel in city center. Free parking on backside. Good beds. Friendly staff.

No airco, so room was hot.

Great location (next to station), very friendly staff, varied breakfast, clean & comfy room - all in all, everything I could've asked for! Quite good value considering the general Norwegian price level, too. Will be happy to stay again if I ever return to Kongsberg!

Very minor negatives: bathroom wasn't very modern and noise isolation wasn't very good (people were talking quite late at night and it was annoying to hear that).

Stayed for 10 days after accident and 2 weeks in hospital. The room, which I rarely left, was very comfortable and the staff were just great. We used the sauna, gym and restaurant every day.

Nothing, this is a great hotel.

The location was great, in the heart of the city. Restaurants and shopping nearby and plenty of free parking right at the property. I didn't make use it of it, but it is right in front of the train station, making it easy to travel to other places.

The safe in the room was not working. I did not need to use it but if I had needed it I would not have been able to use it.

The location of the hotel, the round the clock reception, and the convenience of onsite parking.

The beds could have been a little more comfortable and the shower head was not great. The water pressure was great but the shower head itself didn’t put out much water at a time.

Location, personel breakfast

Very friendly staff.Spacious room even when sofabed in use.

Hot water boiler in room was not working but was changed by staff prompt after we claimed. We would reconmend hotel staff to check function of equipment before guests arrive.

Location. Staff were lovely and the food parcel they made for us as we left before breakfast was fantastic

No room in the car park for us

Location is fine. There is nothing special about this hotel that would make me want to choose it over others in Kongsberg.

My room was sweltering hot. Although I had the windows open, I woke up at 0400 sweating. A very long, uncomfortable night. I won't stay there again.

nice central place, good food. they have a sauna, but it needs some work.

nothing to complain about really.

Superb breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent central location close to public transport - bus and train within 25 metres! Comfortable rooms with tea/coffee making facilities. Possibility to eat outside. Good parking.
