Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Too hot in the room. I was informed they had air fans you could bring to your room. However I did not know about this before the day I was returning home.

the waffle batter could have been better, and i could hear the people above walking around and stuff, would like a bigger pillow, if i am going to comment anything. everything else was quite good :)

Fantastic breakfast! And very nice and kind young staff.

The room was very expensive for the type of accommodations, with a view to the road, bad smell and it wasn't clean at all, specially the floor. We also found snus (tobacco) under the bed. We had to remove the sheets and towels and bring them to the reception. Not so nice service for the price. The quality price was very disappointing.

This is a nice youth hostel affiliated with HI. It's located across the river from the city center, and within walking distance for the said center, a couple of supermarkets, and the great mining museum. There's a reasonable amount of space in the rooms. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, including some uncommon ones (vegetable quiche, for example). Free parking is also nice.

My private bathroom was small, and it had a small shower corner with an inconvenient curtain trying its best to stick to me while showering. The only option to avoid that was to partially open the curtain, which of course sent water everywhere. So it was a bit of a mess. And on a different topic, the oily smell of the breakfast waffle iron will stick to your clothes for a while.

Soft bed!

It was clean, confortable, in a quiet place, with free parking and they have a good small buffet that I enjoyed and was included in the price. The recepcionist was super kind and helpful.

Sometimes the heater was pretty noisy and you had to turned a little the button until it stopped. This was only a problem when it happened in the middle of the night when I was sleeping. But as I said, I managed to stop it easily

Breakfast was nice and varied. Location very good, 5min from the university and downtown.

Around 5AM, the guy(s) in upstairs started to walk/move heavily in their room, resulting in the floor/ceiling vibrating. There was no other type of noise, just physical activity - jumping, walking, banging... They were possibly exercising in the room. The activity stopped around 7AM when the breakfast opened.

A nice hotel in a good location. The people working there were very nice, the breakfast and the room were good.

The only point of improvement is thay in my room (21) the Wifi signal wasn't the best. I kept losing connection, but it was usable.

The hostel has a pleasant presence as you drive up. There is a park for the children to play. The interior was cheerful, with areas for seating, a good breakfast area, an attractive stocked communal kitchen, a lift, and friendly employees. It seemed family oriented. Breakfast was ample with a good variety. The distance was not far to the business area of town.

Our room was way too hot and uncomfortable. We were given a fan but it did little to help mitigate the heat. We were unable to open the window to let in the night air. The window mechanism appeared to be broken. My daughter, who loves heat, could not stand how hot it was in the room. She went to our car for part of the night. Allowing a room to be that hot is unacceptable.

The first impression of the reception was that we were greeted by a friendly woman, as if I had come to my grandmother's house, she explained everything, helped me with the phone charger.

There is dust on the ceiling, I think it hasn't been cleaned for a long time :))

Had a problem with payment through booking.com but hotel staff helping me resolve the matter and amazingly helpful, this place is highly recommended

The tv did not work in one of our rooms.After showering the entire floor was wet in the bathroom.It is an expensive hostel and we paid less for an average quality hotel in Oslo.

Services, service providers, breakfast, location, and surrounding nature were great. It was not frar from the centre.

The room was not clean at all. TV was bad. Breakfast was so so. According to price it was bad overall.

I missed vegetarian options for the hot food; it contained either egg or ham. Also price could be slightly less for what it is.

Very close to the centre. Quite are with a playground in front of the accommodation. The personnel was very helpful. Breakfast with broad chooses.

A bit older equipment. When the neighbours are noisy you can here everything.
