Really lovely place ideally located for Hexham, Corbridge and probably Newcastle, dinner was delicious and the self service continental breakfast in the morning is really good if you like to get up and out early in the morning. Really comfy bed and only a little bit of noise from the pub downstairs

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, Sam was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view! It had everything we needed and we had a very quiet and comfortable night.
The cost of the taxi to the venue we were going to! However, it was a bank holiday! Nothing else at all, it was a lovely stay! Thank you Rose and Crown.
Great location and good food, lovely staff and very clean
We were kept awake in the evening by the noise/singing downstairs till 11.30 when we had an early start, perhaps could have been warned when we booked?
Lovely staff. Made you feel welcome. Room was very lovely. Clean and comfortable. Had and evening meal in the pub in the evening. Food was really good
Very nice stay at rose & crown room very clean & cosy staff all very friendly and helpful
Could not say there's anything I did not like all was very good
Continental breakfast was what I expected and very good.If there was one thing you could do even better is check the dates on the pain au chocolats as they were out of date and most of the UHT cartons had soured and gone off.
As mentioned above.
Location, room comfort , staff friendliness were all brilliant.
The breakfast was unsatisfying . We sent a request for one gluten free breakfast. What we got was some gluten free bread and biscuits, good, but no cereal. It had been left on our landing as a DIY. so there was no one to ask for extra butter or proper milk. Our biggest gripe was in the restaurant the night before. I enjoyed my meal , but my wife said her meal was inedible, being covered in lemon butter that she described as burnt chip fat. We pointed this out when our plates were taken away, but there was no attempt to redress her disappointment. A free dessert or partial refund would have done the job.
A very large and comfortable room and fantastic continental breakfast. The locals made us feel very welcome.
A little confusion initially about entry to the property, but it was sorted out by the lovely locals.
great location, fantastic staff and a very comfy bed
Fabulous staff and excellent service. Food was great and very reasonable prices. Lovely continental breakfast.
I like the room, the facilities, the community pub downstairs with good food & friendly locals. The little village was lovely and quiet and the drive there was through some spectacular countryside.
The drive their was longer than I expected but was a beatifiul.
The breakfast was really good. We ate dinner there and it was excellent. Everyone was very friendly.
The bed was very comfortable however our room had twin beds in which we did know about but we asked the hotel to put them together to make a double bed
The shower didn't work and the room was quite dusty
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate with 14 friends in the restaurant and the food was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The Rose & Crown is set in the most beautiful countryside and we were within east reach of Corbridge and Hexham.
Unfortunately due to the time of the year we visited the weather wasn’t particularly great and the room was rather cold as there was no heating on.
friendly staff of this community owned pub. Food great with big choices beds comfy. If in the area don't miss out.
was raining in the morning.!
Friendly. Helpful. Good food and good night’s sleep
Bedroom walls a bit thin
