Cons -
- Delayed getting into room by 1.5hrs, room 42 was not up to standard for cleanliness, toilet didn’t work properly, shower ran hot and cold, lots of spiders and blue bottles, dirt under bed! And for a non smoking room there were cigarette butts outside the front door
- Very very slow service and over priced
- Shame that my spouse couldn't join me in the spa after treatment. Treatment costed nearly £100 and I was the only person in the spa after.

The breakfast at the Sister hotel was far nicer and more filling. The river being so close the coziness of it all
Damp/black mould around window in first room
The grounds and activities selection was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and Ellie was extremely helpful.

The restaurant and food was really great, and the staff super friendly. The hotel is pretty big and spread over a large area and is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Very stylish
The wifi was awful in my room and also in the restaurant. Very low and kept dropping out. Also it is not that easy to move around especially with suitcases as the drive is all big gravel, you can't wheel anything you have to carry. Also my room was very hot and I couldn't see how to get it cooler as it was coming from the fixed rad in the bathroom. I think it is also a big shame that guest cannot use the spa unless they book a treatment! I never saw anyone in the spa so it's well underused and would be a reason I would book this hotel if I could use the sap. Now I know I can't I may not bother again given the wifi issues as I had work to do in the evening and couldn't even hotspot to my phone as the phone signal is also non-existent.
Amazing location, incredible grounds, pleasant staff.
Not worth the price, we paid £325 for one night. The room was small, lacked privacy, and basic. The bed was very close to the door where we could hear literally every minor noise in the hallway. It feels like a country hotel that has no character in its interior, the room was almost corporate and lacked that warm country feel. The payment also doesn’t give you access to the spa facilities, you have to book a treatment for that.
Lovely room, gorgeous grounds & great staff.
Room was very warm throughout the night. Other than that it was fab!
A beautiful location and comfortable stay.
There has been a change of management, and deterioration of the upkeep of the gorgeous grounds which is sad to see.
The character & style was beautiful.. The facilities at the spa was just enough you could book it out for an hour and half just for yourselves so no crowds .. The Hotel was on its own in a little village which was perfect for us as we wanted nothing to do but relax and it ticked all them boxes ..
The menu could have more choices other than that perfect..
Such a beautiful venue, quaint and quirky. We had one of the garden rooms that had a sheltered glass covered area to lounge outside of the room and a small patio area too. The food at the restaurant was superb and the staff are really friendly.
The only issue we had was maybe a small communication issue possibly due to language barrier when ordering our food, but all that happened is we got an extra portion of something rather than it replacing the food we didn't want on the plate.

Unique hotel with a proper Cotswold feel. The grounds were lovely and rooms were really nice. River windrush runs right through the property and you can walk for ages along it and into the countryside. It was much better than expected and felt more like a tiny village setting than a hotel.
There's was nothing I didn't like. It was a perfect getaway.
I loved the whole look and feel of Minster Mill. I like how cozy the room felt. The shower was great and the bath towels were lovely. It’s in a gorgeous location. The pub across the road is great with a games room and delicious food and great atmosphere.
I thought the rooms could do with a little spruce up.
Good accommodation.Good food.Lovely surroundings.
Hotel information in the room was poor.Faulty drain plug in sink.Going to a pub for meals.
The area surrounding the hotel was nice and the spa area was very clean.
The price of the stay, was expecting a better room/cleaner room. Carpets not hoovered room felt very isolated and away from the main hotel. Purchased a neck, shoulder and back massages for my wife for her birthday and when booking also got told that if I wanted to use the facilities with her I would have to pay an additional £25 just to use the spa area. Overall disappointed with the stay, bed was uncomfortable and nothing worse than having two single beds pushed together. When arrived we ordered two bowls of chips and two glasses of wine as we only had 20 minutes before our spa treatment the final bill came out at £44 :(
Lovely location, great service and fantastic breakfast.
The room was missing a hairdryer and the cost of the room was a lot for what it was. We had to book treatments additionally to use the spa pool.
Location
Room and bathroom not clean. Leaking shower. Breakfast service awful.
The spa was very nice and the log burner on the patio
The food was not good my burger was so dry I could had used it as a Hockey put
