The room had a lovely view to a pond.Very handy having a cafe and fast food at hand.

The balcoly door didn't have a lock. A few details in the bathroom. Taps running 'funny' and unfinished details in the lights. No extractor in the bathroom either.

Room type and view of the lake was great.

The room we were booked into was great as described above, however the bathroom basin had hot water running in both the hot and cold taps - this was very odd, but the reception staff had no hesitation in giving us another room with the same great facilities. Apparently, there was a plumbing/boiler issue and we appreciate that problems with services may occur from time to time. This did not affect the enjoyment of our stay - thanks to the prompt actions of the staff.

Cleanliness of room. Bathroom needs refurbishment. Several hairs found in bed before we even touched it.

Excellent spot to break journey going north. Always spotlessly clean and a welcoming straightforward booking in . We have stayed here many times..and no doubt will again.

The location was convenient for our trip.

Balcony door lock and handle were damaged and prevented the door from completely closing. Sink taps were from the last century and did not operate very easily. The TV didn’t seem to operate from the remote.

Food, Fuel, Motel all convenient.

24 hour shop and McDonald's were convenient. The day time having the extra places for coffee and breakfast was also nice. Some rooms have a small balcony area facing some water which is actually pretty nice. The room was a bit small as expected but not terrible.

People clearly take animals who aren't trained well as the room did smell of urine and since for our room one mattress was located on the floor it wasn't pleasant. For a cheap 1 night stay not bad but I personally don't think I could do more than a night but maybe other rooms aren't as scented.

If no A/C, good ventilation should be pissible and fan should be on hnd.

It was ok, cheap at £70 and a good place to stop on a long journey from Scotland to the south coast. Its basic but did what it said for £70

Maintenance terrible - cable pulled out of desk light, safety chain on door broken, no way to lock balcony door Breakfast not available in services - says it opens at 7.00, still closed at 7.20 so went dlsewhere

The area to walk the dog. Lovely clean lake. Everything being dog friendly.

Can't think of anything

very convenient stop over travelling south. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and functional.The view over the lake was worth the extra money so was the extra £10 for my dog. The lake walk behind the hotel was surprisingly quiet and pretty.

Walls are thin so noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms is quite loud.

Lovely room with a nice balcony, the room was a decent size too and standard for this type of hotel. The lady at reception was lovely and friendly. Easy to get too off the main road, location was perfect for what I needed.

There was a fair few rats in the car park and a sort of off putting smell about the place.
