- Exceptionally nice place and food and service were excellent.
Cons -
- Bed was not the most comfortable
- The menu was quite small but what was available was cooked and presented perfectly.
- Nothing. Bed was a slightly but small but myself and wife are both 6ft so sometimes can’t be helped. Maybe I should have asked for an upgrade from the outset

Beautiful mansion, good breakfast
A bit remote. Fire alarm went on in the middle of the night and ruined my next day
The staff were lovely, everyone was polite and friendly. The cocktails and breakfast were very good, dinner was ok. Good tea and coffee selection in the room.
The room was tired, dated, everything looked cheap and the carpet was so dirty I didn't want to walk on it. Definitely not what you expect from a 4* hotel... Also, pillows were so hard. In addition, wine is absordely expensive for a very average selection.
Friendly staff.
WiFi Internet was very poor, constantly having to re-enter the password, and no security certificate so some sites would not work.Received about 20 emails prior to our visit.Breakfast was mediocre and expensive.
Great staff, food was excellent the rooms were spotless and the hotel was amazing.
Great location. On site parking. Beautiful 17th century manor house. Loved the gardens. Flying visit to visit friends in Keighley so we didn't book for an evening meal. Breakfast was yummy. Quality ingredients, good choice, well cooked and presented. Pleasant, informative, attentive staff. Bedroom nicely furnished with all basic necessities provided. We definitely intend to return and stay longer.
Lovely old building. cleverly converted. Staff notably friendly and efficient.
Slightly disappointed in the dinner. Starters were bland (cheese soufflé) or meagre (wild mushrooms) and the lamb rump listed as a special (not cheap) was fatty and tough with not much edible meat. Desserts very good and wine reasonably priced.
upgraded for an extra 85 room was well priced above market value but windows didn’t open, staff were lovely especially reception and shannon on the bar but over priced and poor food service over an hr between courses
see aboverestaurant staff i particular one but done want to get her in trouble, we’re rude from start to finish made an expensive meal even more distasteful thanks fully the bar staff more than made up but for over 350 foe a room then 140on drinks and dinner the pics make it look grander than it is some staff and the paid upgrade were great but staff pricing let it down
Just stayed for the Saturday night as we was attending a gig at Piece Hall . We thought the staff was excellent a friendly welcome . We had one of the suites and was impressed with how comfortable it was . Breakfast was so lovely with a good selection to choose from . Loved the full English especially the home made black pudding
Breakfast was delightful and Gwen enjoyed her sausage every morning.Location idealStaff extremely friendly
Quiet hotel with lovely staff who were keen to help and to ensure that our stay was enjoyable.
Loved the cocktails. Had a fabulous evening meal, great breakfast. Very comfortable bed
Charming, characterful hotel, stayed in a lovely suite with a very comfy bed. Close to the Piece Hall (we were attending a concert) bar was open late on our return. Wife had breakfast and enjoyed it. Excellent
Good location, both breakfast and dinner where of good quality.
The staff (breakfast) where not very friendly they look busy (which is fine) but the greeting and the genuine touch of service was missing.
Absolutely beautiful quirky building and stunning garden. It was a two day birthday treat for my daughter. The breakfast was excellent and dinner good.
Overpriced and rather disappointing sadly. The room was much smaler then expected and the sofa bed took up the whole space in the main area which meant no where to sit. The sofa bed was not comfortable after such a long drive. Some of the staff were lovely but others were grumpy and seemed inexperienced.
Staff was amazing..also the history was very good..just thought it was a bit overpriced for the room ..sorry ..
I tried booking once and it was £290..booked again same date..same room £100 more ..
Quiet
Room was too hot, windows wouldn't open, breakfast was rubbish and expensive
Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were all absolutely fabulous. Professional, charming, friendly. My Mum loved all the facts about the Beatles staying, and the Last Tango in Halifax being filmed there. The garden is gorgeous too. We had a really happy stay.
