The coffee machine wasn’t working staff did try to fix it but it didn’t work. The check out there was a huge delay due to a family checking in early

There are no lifts and several doors to navigate to get through to the rooms on the upper floor. It would be really helpful if there was some way to make the doors easier to open, and electronic mechanism with a push button for example. Navigating the doors with bags alone isn’t easy. But this is really a minor issue and a suggestion not a complaint!

Staff that were working the hotel in the morning - chef and reception were excellent and friendly a real credit to the hotel. Shame the hotel manager hasn't contacted me us to discuss our complaint and basically I've been ignored.

I am still waiting for a response from the hotel and booking.com extremely poor and disspapointing both said they would come back to me but haven't over a month laster.We booked this hotel specifically to use the spa and pool. At the time of booking, the website stated the pool was open all year round and provided opening times for the spa.However, on check-in we were told the spa and pool were not available until the following day. This was not communicated in advance and meant we could not use the facilities we had booked the hotel for.The hotel offered £20 compensation, which we felt did not reasonably reflect the loss of a key advertised service. We paid £135 and find it insulting to offer us £10 refund per person for a key reason of our booking It is now day 4 and we are still waiting to be contacted by the hotel regarding this issue, which is disappointing.The room itself was fine, but guests should be aware that advertised facilities may not be available as stated.

The room was a good size for our family of 5. It was nice and clean. Good choice for breakfast.

The shower had a constant drip which kept me awake on and off through the night. Breakfast room could have done with an extra toaster as we had to queue to make toast for 5

The hotel was reasonably priced, had spacious double bedrooms, friendly reception staff, and it was a quiet stay without noise disturbances overnight. There were also good facilities at the hotel with a gym and swimming pool being on site. Additionally, there were plenty of parking spaces available. Overall, a good night’s stay.

The location of the radiator in the bathroom being directly over the toilet was peculiar. One of the towels fell off the radiator overnight, but luckily didn’t fall into the toilet. The bathroom radiator should be moved to another wall in the bathroom.

Location, facilities and price

Shower loose, hole in the wall under the sink. No room service menu / welcome pack in room. Food delivered with no cutlery then didn’t answer the phone. Eat my meal with a teaspoon.

My only dislike was that Breakfast was mediocre/basic with some of the items a little spoilt by overcooking/standing.

I liked the layout of reception, my room which was warm, the en suite was spotless. It was quiet and I felt if I'd needed anything, I'd have been happy to ask. Lovely glass of wine at the bar so didn't mind paying that bit extra.

TV channels were poor as was the signal and the remote didn't really work. Pillows very hard although I think there was a notice saying you could ask for a softer one. I don't think the air vent was working in my bathroom but can't be sure. The breakfast 'hosts could maybe just have shown me where things were as I missed the cooked options completely

Everything was fantastic. Rooms clean,bed comfy and excellent breakfast.the staff so pleasant.

Nothing to dislike.

Was good stay bit annoyed to get parking ticket. Sorted now but it should of been explained good food evening meal rump brill , interconecting room bit noisy at times
