Bar area and restaurant were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Car parking was easy.

The room - it smelt damp when we opened the doorThe bathroom was poor, the bath had a hole in the rim, a puddle of water down one side of the toilet.The inside of the bathroom door was splintering at the bottom.The carpet was badly stained.We were travelling with 2 dogs and the charge was £30.00 extra. Is this how you think people with dogs live?

The staff couldn't do enough to help. The dugout was perfect for us, and the hotel was very clean.

From booking to check out, I had the perfect experience! Staff cannot do enough to help you and do so with a smile! Room was immaculate, bed was super comfy and room service was prompt! I couldn't ask for more!

I was overcharged and am not getting anywhere with the hotel at about getting a refund. I am really annoyed and wont be stopping again

Beautiful Reception & Room. The inside is so much more modern than the outside look.

Having to pay extra for early check in. I feel the price was expensive enough at £92 a night. Plus we had to pay 2 hours early check in. Parking & breakfast ontop (if wanted).

The hotel was clean and tidy on arrival, smelt lovely in reception. Room was clean and tidy, looked recently renovated too.The shower was excellent, bathroom was clean and modern. Quiet room, no disturbances in the night. Good sized comfy bed.

Check in took longer than expected as was unable to check in via the computer systems. Receptionist on both check in and out were friendly. Parking charge could’ve been included in the room fee in my opinion.

Friendly staff, the room was clean, bright and the bed was comfy. The meals at the restaurant really good well worth eating there for lunch/dinner. The gym isn't big, but it has what you need for your stay.

The fact the parking isn't free considering the location I don't believe its right to have charged people, when the room per night is expensive with no breakfast.

I stayed in refurbished room. It was really clean and well decorated. No noise perfect temperature. Tea and coffee facilities. I was also attending for training. I worked with 2 members of staff who were really helpful and made sure the event ran smoothly.

The intensity of the weed smell across the hotel. The female manager with the long dark hair was excellent at her customer service and changing my room

WiFi in my room was very poor. Wouldn’t have been an issue if I hadn’t been needing to work.

Location good, front of house, restaurant and bar very tidy and clean, staff very friendly. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Shower good.

My room (212) was very old and tatty, needs refurbishment badly. Old style TV, picture poor. Bathroom very tired. Wallpaper peeling off and extractor fan missing cover. Bath panel and panel under sink not fitted properly, damaged and tatty. No power sockets by the bed, USB charge points didn’t work either.

Games room, beds,facilities, smoking area although it coulld with a roodtop outdoor at least one in back garden which was beautiful fed your birds.

People smoking cannabis on 2nd floor fumes so strong between rooms very strong it stayed. No Netflix in room 213 complimentary water would be great. Smoking area needs a covered area love hotel though

I had a lovely stay here. Dinner was excellent, there was plenty of parking, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would happily stay here again.

We skipped the cooked breakfast, as last time we stayed it was not nice. Its hard to get a full English wrong, but they did. A shame

Stayed for an event. Comfortable clean room. Most staff helpful and acommadating.

My parents asked staff to call them a taxi to get home the next day and were told to use the phone themselves. They were deaf, they can't use a phone which is why they had asked for assistance!

breakfast was very nice, Lobby looked nice and fresh so did the whole hotel, gym a plus too, well equipped for a hotel gym.after a bad start with the booked room, had two very nice double rooms with interleading doors. Communiation with the hotel before we arrived was very friendly.

early check-in would cost 10GBP per hour you check in earlier than 2pm. Never experienced anything like this worldwide. The hotel was not busy, no high season, room was empty and ready and still they wanted the extra punds!Not a nice welcome! Family suite we booked, was hot like the desert (around 30degrees Celsius!), it was not possible to really open the windows or switch off the heating, (got upgraded in the end, but after a late check-in in the end, at night, a little bit annoying after the not so nice welcome and they seemed to know the problem with that room, so why rent it out. "Cleaning and refreshing the room", put the sign outside the door until 10:30am or no one will come and if you put it out, all they do is bring fresh towels and "make" the bed (not really neat), bathroom and sink still "dirty", dirty cups in the room etc. has nothing to do with cleaning the room! Hotel with 4 stars should include a real cleaning the room!
