Clean, comfortable, good food and great staff - also good location; bit of a climb back up from the harbor and shops, but overall, a very good experience.

An ideal location and good sized room

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so I had to go out to search for food and the pub had a band playing which was loud till well after midnight so I didn't get a lot of sleep

Great place to stay. Great location. Very nice breakfast too. Very friendly folks in the pub as well. Highly recommend.

The position on Fowey and the delicious traditional English breakfast

Some furnitures need to be modernized.

Central point around the area. Owners very friendly and took time to answer questions about the area.

Steep and narrow stairs. Parking okay but tight for a big car.

No wifi despite the website saying there was. There was wifi in the upstairs breakfast room in the pub (only open for one hour in the morning) but not in our bedroom which was out in an annex in the car park. It was great to have a car park at the Inn but it could have been tidied up so that cars could fit in better. Sometimes cars had to block other ones in, so it was a worry that we might be standed if someone went off for a walk and we needed to get our car out. The owners didn't take registration numbers of guests so it would be impossible to find out who was blocking you in.

I was in a room with a lovely church and harbour view. The breakfast was also great. The early check in and late check out (compared to other places) was also a bonus.

It was difficult to attract someone's attention to check in. I couldn't get the soap pumps to work. One side of the double bed was very uncomfortable. Thankfully, the other side (probabaly less used) was a bit better. I was also disturbed by the very bright lights shining up at the pub all night and therefore into my window. There was no socket accessible by the bed. And it was not obvious how to check out either, so I left my key with the waitress at breakfast.

Location was OK. Breakfast was as expected The actual room was clean and comfortable . Parking was onsite and safe

No Wifi at all in the room which was an annex from the pub. The owner didn't even try to apologise saying there never had been Wifi. Wifi however was advertised as a service .The stairs to the rooms were slippy and as it was winter it is difficult to keep clean, but there was no apparent effort to keep them clean and safe.

The staff were very attentive and polite. The room was spacious and great views over the Fowey estuary. Good parking onside which is a great bonus in Fowey.

The stairs were a bit steep.

Real friendly pub making good use of the old building in a quiet backwater of Fowey with car parking. Maybe some advance advice on access by road . A small map maybe of the place . Will come again.

A few corners of the old buildi g need work and car park signage.

Nice and clean, bed comfortable Breakfast very good. Well situated for town. Room 1 had a great view from the window. Bus stop outside the safe harbour. Shuttle bus from main car park down to harbour.

As my companion has walks with a crutch stairs were difficult. But host did give us an advance warning. Car parking is at times difficult.5, min walk down hill to harbour.

Staff are lovely and they make you feel included in what is going on in the hotel. One night was a games night and the next night was a quiz night. I did join in with a local team. It was good fun and the local people are lovely

A plug for the bath but to be honest I didn’t ask for one. I am sure it would have been provided very quickly.

Room was clean, comfy and the dining room was clean and welcoming. Lovely breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

The staff and owners were attentive. Ideal position for Fowey, you could leave the car there , and just a 5 minute walk into centre .

The interior in places needs updating, and the particular room we stayed in was small,also television controls were not working properly.

More of an Inn rather than a hotel. Needs updating, but clean and comfy

The breakfast was lovely but, for us would have like it earlier as martin was cycling end to end. The location was very pretty, but again we were not there to take advantage of our surroundings.

Could not park in the hotel car park as it was full, so were advised to use the town car park which was quite a stride away. At breakfast we heard a couple discussing when their friends would be collecting their car. Needless to say they were not staying there. I was able to bring the car down to the hotel carpark prior to leaving which made it a little easier. As we were later than planned arriving and the time spent going back and forth to the car park with the bike etc. we needed to eat. Nothing was available at the hotel and when we walked into town the last restaurant stopped serving food at 9pm. Had food with us for Martin to eat in the day but not a good solution after a hard days ride and another hard ride the next day. Went to bed on 2 bags of crisps. A warning to other late arrivals, eat on-route.
