Pros +
- I liked the location and its old style.
- Beautiful room with a Loch view and doctors breakfast.
- I loved the “Scottish” feel, especially the lounge with the log burner and the creaky staircase.
Cons -
- I had booked a loch view and was given a view of the car park. The water for a bath/shower was discoloured (brown tint).
- Felt the dinner was nice, but a bit overpriced. TV was weirdly on the side wall rather than opposite the bed which made it awkward to watch
- Considering the restaurant is called Fish, it didn’t have that many fish / seafood items on the menu.It didn’t spoil my stay, but a shame about the one waiter in raggy jeans who pretty much threw my dinner plate down. The other waiters were so professional and smartly dressed.

Wonderful location at the head of Glen Coe overlooking the loch. our room was lovely and very comfy. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge and the bar staff were very knowledgeable about whisky
The breakfast was excellent but the restaurant food somewhat overpriced, although very nice
Awesome old building right in the centre of dozens of different walks and climbs, great communal area with fire place to relax, restaurant was nice
Understandable considering the age of the building but the shower had very low pressure and the tub wasn’t as large or usable enough to give it maximum rating.. also may or may not have been pigeons in the roof; I could hear something scuttling around up their (there was no chance of them accessing the room, I could just hear something)
Place was great. Only issue is lack of leisure facilities and semi good breakfast. That apart a great place, amazing views and staff were all brilliant.
Breakfast could have been better but I am not overly keen on buffet breakfasts!!
Clean, comfortable easy access
The location was perfect and the views were amazing. The service from the waiters and staff was outstanding—truly impeccable. Breakfast was very good as well. Overall, the experience was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for more.
The lighting in the room, especially on the dressing table when I'm putting on makeup
the whole hotel was amazing, food was ok but a little on the expensive side. the bar was great with a huge selection of drinks. The lounge seating area was beautiful, just like being in an old fashion stately home. The surrounding area is so beauty
dining room was a little bit cold if you were sat by the window, although it was very cold outside at the time.
I loved the friendly staff, the old style felt very authentically Scottish, we could bring our dog for her first hotel stay, the food was great, location was perfect for days hiking in Glen coe and it was such good value.
Maybe a few more board games in the cosy lounge room..we could only find one and it had seen better days.
The room and bed was very comfortable, great facilities (bar, dining room), car parking plentiful and close.ChargePlace Scotland chargers in the car park (although took a fair bit of effort to get them working)
Good breakfast, and lovely place to stay.Friendly and helpful staff, who took time to tell you about the area.
Location is very good. Staff are excellent and friendly
Restaurant is very expensive
Transferred to the isle of Glencoe hotel Got the smallest room No mattress cover except an old waterproof sheeting . Downie the cheapest only size of mattress . Cold. If you spend that type of money on a hotel room I want quality not cheapness
We have been in the hospitality for 50 years And would never treat guests like that . No personal touches . Would never go back .
Great location and view over the lake. Lovely lounge with fire place and comfortable chairs.. Use of the facilities at the sister hotel ( pool and sauna)
Lovely view staff good Breakfast was good Room was good
Meal rice and chicken small lump chicken led with rice that was dry the sauce that was on the chicken was to little, for £22 it was worth £10 / £7 bottle beer , only one barman on trying to do bar restaurant coffees teas himself , great barman but management must see he needs help ,
Lovely historical old building, friendly and helpful staff Good food with great service. The creaking floors added to the atmosphere
Great location, by the river, convenient after a long day of driving.Room and bed were very comfortable.
Seafood platter in the restaurant was expensive and disappointing. Was still very hungry after finishing it.
The hotel was stunning and amazing location
Some of the staff were lovely but some behaved like the guests were annoying. Maybe they were burnt out over the festive season.
Team members.all Fantastic customer service exemplars whom were interested to chat to their guests. Decor, furnishings location.
