Pros +
- I stayed here while hiking the West Highland Way and it was a bit of calm in the storm. It was a rainy and cold day and the shower was hot and the heater worked great! There is also a kettle with coffee and tea in the room to warm you up! It is easy walking distance from the main drag, food shopping and restaurants.
- Great location, clean room and bathroom, nice shower gel/shampoo, friendly and welcoming staff, good price for 3 nights
- Great location in town, friendly helpful staff, nice views, clean spacious rooms, bar and restaurant on site. We were there during the regional power outage due to storm Amy. The hotel did their best under adverse circumstances. They managed to get hot food in and even opened the bar which was great for moral. We were lucky to have been there during the outage. There was nothing else open in town.
Cons -
- It is quite a faded and dated hotel, both in terms of exterior and interior appearance
- We were placed in what turned out to be a very noisy part of the hotel; sounded like our room was situated right above the kitchen and also very near a supply location. Early in the morning large trucks came along to drop off or pick up stuff, which was again very noisy and woke us up.
- The restaurant was pretty bad, would not recommend eating at it, go eat at one of the restaurants just around the corner in town!

The room was clean and warm. The bed was comfy. We liked staying here.
Beautiful surroundings, close to West Highland Way. Many restaurants nearby.

The location was great! The room was very nice, great beds and the bathtub was nice after hiking the WHW to have a little soak!

Good location for easy access to the Highlands - gateway to Glencoe, Fort William.
A bit outdated, but perhaps this is the style they wish to keep.
The property itself was in a very nice location next to the national park and is easy to reach most notable locations in the Highlands. The hotel itself was massive with a very nice area on the 3rd floor which included the dining area but most importantly the lounge area that exceeded expectations due to the size and comfortability. The food was also exceptional.
Smaller room than expected and the dinner prices were a bit much for what you got.
The location worked really well for us coming back to Glasgow from Isle of Skye!
The shower broke and it didn't have hot water when I tried to shower. We tried to get someone to help but it was too late in the day so we couldn't find anyone to fix it.
It was clean and fancy, beautifull place and very nice people
The room was very expensive and very small The door of the bathroom couldnt be closed
Ideal location when walking the West Highland Way. Hotel looks and feels a bit dated, but when staying only one or two nights it's fine.
Perfect for an overnight stay , room very clean and comfortable , a very good buffet style breakfast , friendly helpful staff , lots of parking . Location was perfect to break up my journey , i would use this hotel again .
Location and breakfast
Barren room
Overall, my stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The room was quite small, which made it a bit less comfortable, but the bed was excellent and I slept very well. The shower was a real delight — powerful and relaxing — although it, too, was quite compact. The real highlight was dinner. I chose the lamb shank, and it was absolutely delicious — highly recommended for any food lover. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Rose Ann. She was exceptionally polite, friendly, and attentive. As a lovely extra touch, I even received a small gift with a thoughtful note — a personal gesture I truly appreciated.I would definitely return to this hotel, though next time I’ll opt for a larger room. All in all, a warm and welcoming experience with excellent food and top-notch service!
The staff made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the beef biryani was excellent!
The hotel was tired, the furnishings weren't comfortable but it was 3 star so perhaps what we expected for an overnight stay in transit, but expensive for A3 star.
Good location, decent price, okay room, good breakfast
Quite dated and worn. No deadbolt or security lock. No way to latch the bathroom door.
Surprised positively after reading the comments I got a room that was renovated. The staff was nice, the location was perfect, on the WHW and close to restaurants and supermarket.
I took a bath and could turn off the hot water ? I had to get out and urgently call someone for help. Would be great to make sure everything works properly.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable, with a wonderful bed. We got a very good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and the bathroom/shower worked well.Felt very good value for the price.
The breakfast finishes quite early (9am on weekdays)
We didn't sign up for the breakfast because it was too expensive. The rooms were comfortable and we were not bothered by any noise. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for others.
We used google maps and the place was a little hard to find.
The setting was beautiful and the lady at the reception was very nice and friendly.
The temperature in the room was very hot. And other guests were talking loudly and making noise in nearby rooms so we had difficulty sleeping.
