Wheal Rodney Holiday Park

Very clean and Ideally located for our holiday. Very friendly staff, nice and quite but good access to main roads and attractions. Site well kept and easy parking.

Place had a very strong smell which wasn't the most pleasant, saucepans had no lids and the cooking utensils were very limited. The chair/sofa are very tired and have a greasy feel, could do with being changed.

The Lodge was superb, it had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom, nice towels and bedding. Shower warm and good pressure, comfortable bed and plenty of space. The location is very quiet and close to St Michael's Mount.

The pool is closing early (6:30pm) and I wish the bed would be bigger.

Really nice site within a decent range of Marazion, about 15-20 mins walk. Really good value for money overall and although we only used the pool once it was a really nice, unexpected touch and a great addition to the the site. Staff really friendly on arrival and during the stay as well as being quick to respond with answers to questions via email before arrival.

We were in a lodge; It was the comfiest bed, had a full kitchen with all the equipment making cooking super easy, had an electric heater for the nights where it was a bit chilly. Was just perfect all around! We went for my boyfriend birthday trip and the staff went above and beyond to help me make it special.

Excellent stay. I arrived very late due to a night drive with my baby. The staff couldn’t have made it easier for me. They coned off a parking space near my lodge and had the cot set up, with the heater on and made sure they left a little light on etc to make it as easy as possible for me. I will definitely be staying on my next trip to Cornwall

Nice property, walking distance to the small town of Marazion, lovely staff. Didn’t use the pool but was a bonus for sure.

The location was great, very quiet and easy to find. The place was clean and staff were very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, again very clean.

shower wasn't powerful enough - just a trickle and temperature fluctuated from cod to extremely hot. this was my only issue with the accommodation

Comfy beds, large towels, tea, coffe, cookies and milk in the fridge for your arrival.

Awful smell of mould which was very unpleasant. When said about this I received an angry phone call from a female staff. She was very unpleasant and denied any smell of mould. She also said that if I want I can leave and that if I cannot see mould, it is not there. Well this is not true, and actually I later discovered patches of black mould in the wall/floor corner in the living room and on the windows. Luckily the weather was good, so we were out most of the time. When we were returning to the lodge we would open front doors, all windows and spray feebrese. Only after all that the place was useable, but not completely free from this bad smell, which would linger around. It was lodge no 10. I strongly advise that you avoid this place at all cost!!!. I am not the first person mentioning this in their review. I am dissapointed I have not seen them before I booked this place! I am sure they will respond saying I did not want investigation etc but hey I was on holiday, I did not have time for this! They might also respond (judging from different reviews) that the place was cheap, but it does not mean one can offer accomodation which is mouldy, and thus not meeting the most basic standards of accomodation.

Lovely comfy big bed. Pretty location, lots of flowers. Lodge was clean. Husband enjoyed the pool. Staff friendly and helpful.

Everything just very dated. Could be done some improvements. The pool open until 6 only. So when you back from daily trip you can’t go there. The coffee machine makes instant coffee don’t waste your money if you like good coffee.

Liked the swimming pool, cleanliness of the property, self catering facility.

Internet was slow at the lodge, Netflix did not work in TV, Vacuum Cleaner was broken

The site was lovely and quiet. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.Oh and the swimming pool was ace !!

Stayed here with my teenage daughter in a family lodge for a week. The lodge was lovely, very clean and cosy with everything you could possible need provided. The beds were extremely comfortable. I was shocked by what was provided as being self catering you usually have to take everything yourself. All the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool was nice and warm. If you are looking for a peaceful site, but still close to amenities and the beach, this is it! We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Wheel Rodney on a number of occasions and it is always lovely. The owners are fab, accommodation has all you need and the surroundings are great.
