Holly Tree Hotel, Swimming Pool & Hot Tub

Location is beautiful. Rooms were a good size. Hotel was quiet. Food was good. Included breakfast was generous portions.

Carpet in our room was stained in paces and bath tiles appeared to need a bit more cleaning. Bed and pillows were quite firm.

Dinner was good Breakfast was basic consisted of couple of cereals.and hot breakfast which was help yourself set up was poor.

Hotel is very tired in need of revamp mattress in the room was very hard not comfortable at all had to put the spare quilt coverers over the mattress to try make it more comfortable.

the included buffet breakfast was very good and the meals at dinner were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good.

Pool and Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi had a view of the Loch which is great.Comfort room with a small living room and a view of the Loch.A very careful and kind staff.Restaurant meals were good with very good fish and chips and very good mussels (they were huge and good). The cakes ("Abbie's Cake" I think) were very good.Breakfast was good and full.PS: Location to be avoided in the event of a storm, as the venue may be without power (this was the case for us during the Amy storm at the end of the stay). It complicated the meal but the staff did well and the kitchens did too)

A waiter was a little too tactile for my taste.

We were on 3 floor with no elevator and they did not offer room cleaning. The hotel bar was a little pricey for drinks compared to other places around but the staff was very good. The cost was not worth the accommodations

We greatly enjoyed the location and the stunning view from our room. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. While the hotel is showing its age in places it is very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the water pressure and temperature were great. The restaurant Is fantastic. Dinner was superb. Highly recommend. Plus they are pet friendly.

The food let the place down . Cooker in some sort of noxious oil . Especially prevalent in the breakfast .

Swimming pool had so much chlorine it was unusable for us. Our room had three light bulbs that would not work.

The staff are super helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner are great. The view over the loch at sunset is stunning.

There was limited space for us to unpack our supersized suitcases in which we packed far too many clothes.

This is one of the best location and the bonus is, I got a river facing room. Wake up in the morning to see the cloudy covered hills and the Sun rays piercing through the clouds. Treat to eyes . I will surely recommend to all my friends circle and also visit next time.

Location was excellent to Glencoe Valley and reviews were way better than Glencoe Inn for sure. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing but dinner wasn't as exceptional. Beds weren't as comfortable as our other stays but still for the value was great.. Overall was a great value, location, and base camp for Glencoe Valley. Thank you highly recommend.

Pros: nice laid-back staff, incredible views, mostly clean, awesome location for hiking, etc.

Cons: busy street, outdated decor, worn carpeting, no hot tub outdoors for main hotel guests, and prices do not reflect the above!

The view is spectacular overseeing the loch. You get to enjoy it from the dining room which was lovely at breakfast and we could walk along the loch after dinner.

The pictures make the hotel look much nicer than it actually is. The pool/hot tub area is not inviting and cleanliness is suspicious. The facilities are old and need updating. Our bathroom was borderline in cleanliness and truly not what I expected given the photos. So yes the view is there but think that those pictures were probably taken 5+ years ago. The lobby is between the pool and the dinning room in one long hallway and you feel like you're at a resort, not a small hotel. A disappointment.

Amazing view, big room, comfortable, loved facilities on site such as pool and restaurant. Staff were so friendly!
