The Salutation Inn

Great location, this room was very large. Easy instructions for check-in and parking on a Sunday arrival. Bed was VERY comfortable. Love the option to make your own breakfast, fantastic selection of cereals, bread, coffee etc. instead the extra cost of full sit-down breakfast. Area was very quiet and relaxing. HIGHLY recommend a stay here. We WILL be back and hope to try the restaurant downstairs, as it's closed on a Sunday and Monday.

The hotel staffs are extremely friendly. You feel so welcomed. We booked our breakfast at 9:30 but till 10:15 still not served. One of the girl just keep checking with kitchen and pushing really hard without us reminding her. Super sweet ladies!

We booked our breakfast at 9:30 but we got at 10:33. The we were pushed out by one of the house keeper, a young guy, who is telling me my check out time is 11:00… this is not pleasant at all.

Lovely clean room with comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. Right in the centre of Topsham with free parking.

Although the galley kitchen was a great touch, the bedroom could have done with a kettle.

Location & food was exceptional

Room was very basic for the price no coffee or tea or fridge in the room. Bathroom very small & restaurant closed on the Sunday & Monday we were there so no staff around at all.

The location was perfect for walking around Topsham. The building was very interesting. An old Inn but modernised in style. Our room was very comfy and all the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent but maybe a little pricey.

Our room was very spacious and our bed very comfortable! There is a galley kitchen with tea, coffee, toast and cereal that you can help yourself to. The restaurant was superb. Delicious and generous breakfast. The staff were super friendly. Thank you to Amelia particularly who really made us feel welcome. Location is in the heart of Topsham.

The service was absolutely top class, and staff were friendly and professional - often that is hard to balance. The food was exquisite and the ambience, not formal but classy. Little extras that just make things nice - the little galley kitchen to help your day go well

That you couldn't mix from both vegetarian and main menu. Apparently, that is quite usual, but it's not something I have come across very much.

The property is lovely, a perfect location in the centre of Topsham. The room was very comfortable, although fairly small.

The room was small, although quite adequate for one person. I was disappointed with the restaurant however. It was very expensive and though the food was good unfortunately the service was very poor. I had a disabled guest, and we were not given the reserved table as I had requested the day before . In fact the table was not comfortable and not appropriate for an elderly person. The service was also extremely slow.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are of a high quality and especially the mattress. Food is exemplary too. Location is right in the centre of town.

Getting into the small car park can be a tight squeeze but to be expected given the town’s road layout.

Delightful room with comfortable large bed. The shower was amazing with no fluctuation in hot water flow and easy to use. All the staff I met were very friendly and courteous. It was good to have a hotel car park as parking in Topsham is limited

The room was large and clean, the windows opened (rare these days) and we drifted off to sleep to the sound of geese honking below. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and the shower was hot and powerful. We didn't want to leave.

The accommodation area and my room smelt of cooking which is a personal pet hate of mine. Ruins the experience.

Very comfortable, well appointed quiet room. Full English breakfast was lovely. The inn is in a great location for a picturesque walk (Goat Track) and beyond. Very helpful and attentive staff.
