Close to the motorway

It was really run down, needed updating.. an cost more for one night than it did for two nights in a Travelodge that was far more up to date

The rooms are tired and somewhat bare! Beds are comfortable, though on this occasion the pillows had seen better days. The bathroom is OK, but the floor tiles were cracked and in a couple of place loose. You have to ask for a second set of towels on arrival.The shower worked OK but is fixed head and not easy to avoid an icy blast when first turned on.

This is the second occasion we have had to request a change of room on arrival. We were allocated a room (108) and on entry found that it was already occupied with a bag on the bed which had clearly been used. We were allocated an alternative (102) which was OK.On a previous occasion we entered our room (101) and all the lights promptly went out - again we were allocated an alternative which was OK

The location- right off the motorway, yet one hardly hears any traffic. The motorway services including shops, takeaways, pizza express, all are located in the area. Theres ample parking and charging facilities. Staff- absolutely spot on! Ramada's best asset seems to be excellent, polite, well-trained, professional staff. Check-in was smooth, professional.The room had a double bed and a single bed. All the essentials - iron, storage, etc were there, along with tea and coffee. There is free wifi.There was a bathtub. The rooms were clean, Christina had done an excellent job. The following morning, Shibu at the desk provided some tips and information. The Checkout was smooth and the staff member ordered a minicab for me. It provides excellent value for money for travellers who're driving up the motorway. I look forward to returning to the Ramada and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Disappointing

Beds uncomfortable, mattresses need replacing. Bath taps rusty and sink had plug missing and no cover.

Great location on the outskirts of London, perfectly quiet despite being on a busy Services.Superb value for money.

No WiFi that I could see but wasn’t there long enough for it to be an issue.

Upon booking on I was given my room key. I went to the room but had to come straight back to reception to ask for a change of room because it smelt as though it had been heavily smoked in. The staff were excellent and immediately gave me a different room.

Bathroom was a little dirty and some plugs didn’t work.

Very convenient being next to the amenities of the service station. Good to have toothbrushes, snack etc available at reception. Very nice, friendly and efficient staff.

Breakfast not in the building and the choice of breakfast and service in the designated outlet in the service station very poor indeed and very bad value. The food was ok; but no choice. No buffet. No fruit. No yoghurt nor juice etc . The toast wasn’t included and two pieces cost me £2.29. No option for one piece. I had to take it back as was only toasted on one side! Also the coffee machine at hotel reception was broken.

The requested quiet room was pretty quiet.

The stairs were ingrained with dirt on treads and carpet.The mattress was too softThe breakfast had to be taken at a kiosk in the service area and was not good

We had to pay £5 each for parking

Beds comfy, staff friendly however - as soon as Inopennee the door you get hit with overhelming smell of bleach, shocking!

The air con not functioning although there were mitigates.The hotel should upgrade to have laundry services.

Good location and easy parking. Easy check in etc.

Room wasn’t clean. Stains and crumbs on carpet. Bathroom very tired. Extremely noisy with lads in cars revving engines from 11pm to 12.30am.

Location was perfect for what I needed

Couldn’t adjust the temperature on the heater, stuck on 26°C and the room was roasting so had to turn it off.

Not clearly signposted when driving into the services. Carpets are very old/used.

Rooms were clean 57 pounds was great price for a family room, we had nice view of countryside behind it was quiet and the room nice and warm.It is great pizza express next door and your staff were lovely too:)

Good location depending on where your destination or event it. The staff were helpful and our room was of a good size.

This is a very basic hotel which I would consider overpriced. The room was very dated, scruffy, and did not smell great either.

Everything, I suggest to stay away if you don’t want ruin your time and waste money. Old, dirty, unpleasant staff. Also horrible customer service

My experience at this hotel was very bad. The room was old and dirty, and the bathroom was in terrible condition with mold and an unpleasant smell. The furniture looked worn out and poorly maintained.We could clearly hear every step from the guests staying above us, which was extremely annoying and made it impossible to rest properly.When booking, it was stated that parking was included, but upon arrival we were asked to pay extra for parking, which was very disappointing.As for breakfast, it is not served in the hotel itself, but in a nearby restaurant. The breakfast was very poor and disappointing, and definitely not worth it. We had to go elsewhere just to have a proper meal.Overall, I do not recommend this hotel at all.
