Pros +
- Staff were super. Very accommodating and friendly.
- Close to a Train station, Breakfast was good.
- Everything was perfect. Much better than we expected. We are both disabled and they looked after us really well. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Cons -
- Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Room was adequately sized but the curtains would not close properly especially for being on a ground floor.
- Place just need some updating, carpets need replacing - that will get rid of the odor as you walk in.
- Our booking was completely wrong ,wrong room ,did expect rude staff at first.

Still have not received deposit back. Even though i asked for it 3 times.Staff were really poor accommodation was poor. Cheap for a reason...
I just want to say to the assistant manager thank you again ,she went out her way to upgrade us .thank you Olga I have put my experience as for the first room we had .
Our booking was completely wrong ,wrong room ,did expect rude staff at first.
Better than expected. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and despite being in a busy part of London it was remarkably quiet. The parking that was available was an added bonus, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The water in the shower was not very hot but this was not a huge problem.
Not a lot
When we arrived we were told that there was a maintenance problem with our room and we had to go to their other hotel nearby. They should have contacted us about this previously. The other hotel was awful. It smelt and had cockroaches! Not a nice place
It's a few minutes walk to the rail station, or a £20 Uber into the city.
When we arrived we were waiting to check in and overheard the facilities guy telling the receptionist not to let anyone in the room as the door was broken. We decided to head into the city to give them time to repair it, so didn't have time to rest after the drive down. The room was booked as a double room with two double beds - they pushed the bed right up to the wall to get a camp bed on the floor. Apparently, I turned over in the night and headbutted the light fitting, which was now overhanding the pillow. The mattress itself might have been older than the building - when you laid on it there was a definite dip in the middle that you rolled towards. The room itself was clean but very dated. Breakfast was a couple of lukewarm eggs, 2 slices of stale bread, an apple, a yoghurt, butter, a random preserve in a plastic pot, and a greasy croissant in a bag. It came with a plastic knife and fork, so you couldn't eat the yoghurt or open the eggs - and there was no plate, just the bags they came in. We ended up going to Mcdonald's instead. Some of the staff were quite rude - when I went to ask about breakfast the receptionist didn't greet me and just stared at me then reached under the counter to produce a single greasy bag and placed it on the counter without saying a word. There were 3 of us in the room - so I had to ask for two more. He sighed and pulled two more bags from under the counter. The keycard also stopped working on two occasions - when I took it back to reception the second time it seemed apparent that it was a chore for them to magnetise it for me. I was told it was my fault for leaving the card next to my phone - despite the fact that the card was in my RFID wallet and in a completely different pocket to my phone. We booked in for two nights with the intention of driving back early after the second night, but due to a lack of comfort in the room, we opted to leave a night early and return home.
Cheap rooms. Handy location.
No breakfasts. No food. Apparently the kitchen is closed Rooms ridiculously small. Bodge jobs everywhere. Electric sockets badly installed. Dodgy cables hanging out of the walls. Holes in the carpet covered by random bits of carpet which were nailed down! Beds small and very uncomfortable. Noisy guests, sometimes shouting and screaming in the corridor.
best western receptionist where wonderful, due to maintenance problem they helped me to get to another hotel, dropped me off in there car and breakfast arranged as well. so very happy with the out come. very nice and polite.
but the other hotel, the room was at the top, a loft converted to a room so walking up the stairs was a killer, complimentary toiletries wasn’t the same as the service I get in best western, they need to have the same a best western, when guest need to be transferred there and very had to open the shower taps. had facility for making tea but no mugs or tea cups left to use.
Get a bigger room with kettle tea and coffee
Room clean and breakfast was decent
Too much noise throughout the night.
Location is good, near the shops, bus stops nearby and a tube station minutes away.My room was a bit cramped (although OK by London standards I guess).Quite clean, heating was fine, had some storage space, lighting OK. Nice big windows (street level). Medium sized flat-screen on the wall, and wifi worked fine.Bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was varied and not bad at all.Overall - good VFM - reasonable price for a decent hotel with easy access to central London.
Check-in was a bit spotty: I had asked for early check-in and was told there would be no problem, but that didn't work out as planned. Still, did get a room a little early. The shower seemed a little low quality difficult to get the water temperature to stay the same & a shower head holder was broken.
Warm welcome at check in. Very convenient for station. Hotel and room very clean.
No heating in bathroom. The plug got stuck in the sink hole.
Nothing. We want refund.
Rooms were so small that we couldn't barely walk inside. It should cost 60 GBP per night only. Not much residents. We want refund
I liked the friendliness of some of the kitchen staff knowing that I am a coeliac by giving me glutenfree bread and bananas as I couldn't have any pastries or glutenfree cereals. That's on my personal side. My companions liked the breakfast and the friendly staff. We stayed 10 nights and would return. We used public transport which is a few steps away. Many restaurants and shops nearby too.
It was the first time for us that a hotel keeps 50 pounds on hold when checking in.We had to wait 22 days to have the money released back as we used the revolut. As help to others I would like to add that on other type of cards this will take less days .
The parkingThe shower
The mattress was like a boardThe duvet wasn't wide enoughThe room smelt fusty and smoky when we first went inThe eggs at breakfast had run out by 8.30We were only left one bath towel on the second morning
Very poor
Hotel desperately in need of refurbishment looks tidy smells frouzzy! Didn't sleep all night you can literally hear every foot steps, in the building doors squeezing & slamming, thin walls be prepared not sleeping.
