Lovely room very comfy bed and the breakfast was lovely just stayed one night while visiting a friend who lives in chigwell

The location. Comfortable clean room.

The toilet flushing inadequate. Would be helpful to have dog bin for bags in the garden. The room was too warm and no facility to manage heat.

It was clean and comfortable. Really liked the stained glass windows in our room

Staff weren’t friendly and the noise was so bad that we left. Corridor also smelled like cannabis when we arrived

Breakfast is very much average. Considering the highest possible standard of food quality for breakfast worldwide, this ranks in the middle. I like the fact that we didn't go hungry.

I went downstairs to ask for some milk from a staff member working near the breakfast area. I was sent back and forth between reception and the bar before he finally asked me to sit and wait. While I sat there, he served two other customers who had arrived after me. I eventually gave up and walked back to my room. I’m left wondering what happened to 'first come, first served,' as I suddenly fell down the pecking order and was ignored in favor of other guests.

Location was perfect for us as we had an appointment on Chivwellhigh street.

Rooms were too warm although fans were available. There is a notice to say the hotel is waiting for council approval to install air conditioning.

Staff amazing! Ipek (both of them) Tetiana (Housekeeping) Niall (Breakfast) were very warm, friendly, welcoming and exceptional in customer service. Love coming here, strongly recommend for those who like luxury for a great price!

2nd visit there - good quality food and the staff are so helpful particularly the staff in the bar, so attentive and polite - they are are credit to the hotel !

Bar closing at 9pm. Rooms a long walk away. Had to walk through a wedding party to get to ours.

We payed for 2 rooms and there were considerably different 1 being quite small and cramped with no table or chair. The room / building temperature was too hot and the fan in the room did nothing so had to sleep with window open as such it was very noisy. Bed was a little uncomfortable.Had to walk through a wedding party to get to our room which was awkward.

Having to pay to park in the car ark on the site of the hotel. Wasn't obvious information in the pre- booking information. Quite expensive for a surprise additional cost

Very hard to check in. Tried to check in at 2pm as we had a funeral to attend, and we new we wojld be late back

The room was spacious yet cosy, plenty room to spread out!All the staff were very friendly and professional but would like to highlight the cleaning staff who always treated us with a smile and a hello when we saw them and asked if they could get us anything

The only minor quibble is that the heating took a while to come on, and not enough milk and sugar . Though when we asked for more they were happy to give us some

We had a brilliant experience with this hotel. Staff were really friendly, helpful and communicative - and the breakfast was ace! Will definitely visit again.

The parking is not free - just for the first 15 minutes! Wish it could be included for all bookings. However, street parking is free and all around the hotel - so that was ok.
