The Wellington Hotel

The Wellington was in a great location to explore the area on foot & use the transportation services across the street. Staff was helpful & breakfast was plentiful. The pub was the perfect spot to meet friends when getting there at different times.

Since there is no lift, the winding stairs are a challenging workout with big suitcases.

Ultra-narrow staircase, no lifts (elevators). The room was very compact in size, including the bathroom, but I got through it.

The staff was friendly

It is a pub with rooms above it, not a hotel. No a/c and no lift. Small stairway and loud noises outside room. No staff to check you in if you arrive early or to check out. Storage closet, not storage room.

The location of this property is what we were looking for and fit perfect without plans. The room was nice, very clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff was awesome and very accommodating, including secure storage for our luggage.

There was a lot of stairs to haul the baggage up, however no fault of hotel, it is an older building. The room was hot, as we had some very warm days while in London. There was fans in the room , so again no fault of the hotel as is an older building.

Staff were very helpful and friendly! We loved the location right by train station and underground. Short walk to Eye and river cruise¿..plenty of restaurants in walking distance and breakfast was included and delicious!

Hallway was a little tight but fine and loved being upstairs from authentic pub!

Fabulous location and terrific value.  the others behind the bar in the pub below were most welcoming.

It was great! Right over a lively pub and directly next to the train station!

No lift was a bummer, but no surprise, & the view was of ductwork (literally stopped the window opening any further) & the side of a bridge. Having looked into what the area was, though, I was not at all surprised and it did not negatively impact our stay

The best part was the proximity to the Waterloo Station and other attractions.

It was a cute, boutique hotel, but carrying heavy luggage up the narrow stairways by yourself was not ideal!

The rugs and sheets of the hotel were not very clean as well as the walls had scuff marks on them. I didn't feel as if the room had be cleaned very well before we had arrived.

Authentic, great atmosphere, and comfortable room, located near everything.
