Location is great, staff and beds were alright.

Bathrooms can be better. They can get quite dirty, so cleaning them more at least twice a day would be appreciated.

Pay attention Bett bugs!!!Me and my friend booked 2 Betts at this hostel, after the second night my friend noticed some bites on her skin she decided although to wait one more day in case she wasn't sure what it was. After the 3rd night the bites were a lot more we went to a pharmacy and they told us these are bett bug bitesfor sure. We went to the reception to find a solution since we had one more night, the options were either just to change the sheets or to leave the accomodations (it was 10 in the night) and get a refund for the last night. We decided to stay since it was super late, there was no room available at that point somewhere else close and we had an early flight so it would be waste of money and time. This people just changed the sheets NOTHING else my friend woke up with more bites and I found also on my feet the next day. We contacted booking to find a solution through the platform, since we didn't like how they treated us and sent also the pictures and everything is o booking. The accomodation and the owner refused to find an agreement which would make both sides happy. Also we asked the other people of the room which we kept contact, if they took any further actions after we left like cleaning the room for bed bugs or tell the people and they didn't do anything which shows clearly how the don't care at all about their guests. It's not possible that these people don't understand how serious this is, avoid this place!!!!

Location, facilities and the pub is amazing

The rooms were so cluttered and that made them kinda uncomfortable.

24/7 access and extras from pub when you stay, was clean and comfortable. Female only room nice and safe on top floor. Open lockers included and bathroom tidy.

Everything was clean. The rooms were warm (maybe a bit too warm, but definitely not complaining. Outside was freezing) the shower water was hot, showers worked well, the 24h reception downstairs was great for coming in and out at random hours. Great place, great lovely people, efficient and easy to get in and out and figure out where everything was. Sockets at the bed worked perfectly, lockers to put your stuff in etc. fab !

There was a bad smell in the shower/ toilet facilities, sewerage smell, pretty bad. Apart from that, everything was perfect

The toilet was in a terrible state and extremely dirty. I nearly slipped, and was unable to shower the following morning at all. Faeces were spread across all surfaces of the toilet. This is a clear sign of poor management.

the WC cabin stinks- no room freshners. Also their room locking system is bad- you have to take your key even if you have to go for a bath. They don't have a common sitting room/lounge for the guests- you have to sit in the pub (and spend money).

Room had clean amenities and plenty of lockers for storage, close to a regularly cleaned bathroom/shower. Rooms are also secured with keycards at room door and entrance so I felt safe. Right above a very social pub with all daypart food options, and great rates for extended week stays. Also a free secure storage room to use beyond your allotted stay. Staff was very personable and friendly, eager to help out or answer any questions or recommendations for things to do nearby.

Room was quite hot and uncirculated even at night with the window open and fan blowing. Stairs may be considered steep and long for older patrons bearing luggage.

- staff is very kind- people there usually really fun- good food quality in the bar- food discounts if you stay in the hostel, great!

- small lockers! But they have a bigger storage if you ask the staff for bigger luggage- too small for 12 people- the same problem of every hostel: lack of countertops in the bathroom

Bed was comfy, room was warm.Good location, at a side street so you don't here traffic at night. Reasonable distance from the London Eye, Big Ban and so on. Restaurants and shops in a walking distance. For this price it's a very good location.Was quiet at night so you can sleep well.Room, bed and bed sheets were all clean.The sitting and dining area was nice.

Not a lot of space for your staff in the room. The locker was too small for my bag, but they did offer a room to store my luggage.A refrigerator for the guests would be helpful.

The property was good in the room and in the pub.The staff was really kind and here if you have any questions.You can meet new people from different countries and it’s very interesting.

It will take at least two sinks in the bathroom because brushing your teeth in the toilet is not very pleasant

The showers are a problem. There should be a partition between each shower so that people's bathwater doesn't spill onto others.

Location and cost to stay

No power in the morning

Stopped here before, so knew what it was like. Nice pub with usual dorms upstairs, easy walk from the tube station and wifi works well. Nice hot showers.

Didn't get a chance to mention it as was running late in the morning, but there was no lighting in 3 of the 4 toilet cubicles which makes life a bit awkward.

The bathroom was quite dirty, and there is just one for the whole floor. Perhaps the hostels can improve the cleaning service.

This was by far the worst hostel experience I have ever had.When I arrived, the room was extremely dirty. To my shock, there was a man sleeping on the floor who was clearly drunk. The lockers and storage areas that were supposed to be used for personal belongings were almost completely broken, so I could not store my things safely and had to keep everything on my bed.Fortunately, I was sleeping on the top bunk of a three-level bunk bed, because later a serious incident happened. The drunk man woke up and urinated on the floor in the middle of the room and also on the guest bed on the first level of the bunk bed.It took a very long time for the police to arrive, and even longer for the staff to clean the floor. The situation felt unsafe, unhygienic, and completely unacceptable for any accommodation.They told me that the money for my accommodation would be refunded. This statement was not true.I paid a total of 130 euros for 5 nights, but I only received 18 euros back. This is not the refund that was promised to me and is completely unacceptable.This was my worst travel experience so far, and I would never recommend this hostel to anyone.

You could store your the luggage for free before and after check-in at the property and the location was incredibly good to visit the nearest sights such as Big Ben (15min by foot).

I return to this hostel at short notice and the reception and atmosphere is exactly what's needed after a long day! Guests and staff alike are always friendly and respectful. Ideal for where I need to be early mornings.
